"Hi G Just a note from Thomas and me to say thank you SO SO much for helping Thomas to achieve a DISTINCTION in his grade 7. His teacher said 'he might pass'!! but it was TOTALLY down to your fantastic rehearsal sessions (other parents please note this wonder man gave us at least double the time for which we had paid and agreed) You quickly had Thomas smiling and rekindled his spark for music which he had lost - without you he said he would have not done the exam. Gareth spent so long helping with scales and aural tests and taught my son to ENJOY sight reading as well as bringing the pieces to life with his amazing accompaniment skills. We were astounded by the speed with which you established a rapport with our son and helped him with so many aspects of performing - real life skills which made all the difference. We have never heard Thomas practising and playing with such confidence and we were all in stitches with the humour our quips and mnemonics you gave in the pointers. I am an ex teacher and recognise in Gareth Giles that rare gift of a superb, kind teacher coupled with outstanding musicianship and the ability to get the best out of a student AND more importantly allow them access to music in the future. GARETH GILES is a truly outstanding teacher and musician and we cannot thank you enough for your kindness, encouragement and love of music PARENTS - or anyone - book this amazing man if you can for he is utterly brilliant, caring and a consummate musician. "Alan is an experienced musician and pianist.He is capable of playing a range of styles,from Jazz,Blues and Rock to light Classical.He is always thinking ahead,adapting his music and genre to different tastes.He is also a very capable and confident person who delivers the highest of standards setting the right tone for a specific atmosphere.He has always been extremely professional,punctual and agreeable.He will always go out of his way to satisfy his customers and our guests.On a personal note, Alan is a great character,sociable and a good listener.I appreciate his music. "We cannot recommend these lovely people enough! We had our day in October 2020 in-between the lockdowns, and the support given was second to none. Due to government guidelines our day was completely planned from start to finish in 6 weeks and was changed twice within the final 3 weeks on the run up to our day, leaving us with only 15 guests and only a ceremony. Having such amazing musicians on the day added that perfect, romantic and intimate touch, that we really thought had gone throughout the roller coaster journey on the run up to our day. All of our chosen songs were played and some beautiful singing just made our day magical. The whole performance thoughoutof ceremony was absolutely faultless!! Really are worth their weight in gold!"

"Nigel performed an amazing ensemble of songs at our wedding ceremony on his piano and went above and beyond to make it this the most incredibly beautiful day for us. He tailored the music perfectly to fit with the guests walking in and while the wedding procession was happening so it was seamless. His knowledge and ability to play on demand and by recollection is remarkable and he is an absolute professional. We cannot thank him enough for giving us a day we will never ever forget and recommend him of the highest regard. He even managed to learn a special song we had requested which only added to the emotions of the day.
