"Liam and Ali (Balor) joined our children at their annual music festival held at Cottesmore Academy. It was wonderful for the children to see two musicians who were so accomplished, perform in front of them. Ali and Liam played brilliantly and it was a joy to see the children get so involved in the performance. Liam also led workshops for group of children allowing them to have expert tuition at the festival. The children loved it and it made our music festival very special."

"What a fabulous night had by all. From the moment we booked the Barnbuskers for our Barn Dance Event at Country Ways they were fantastic. So helpful and well organised. Country Ways had over 100 guests for the Barn Dance and everyone was laughing and smiling. From young to old everyone joined in and had such a lovely evening. "What an amazing band! I’ve heard bands which are great at the Scottish ceilidh stuff but not very good at any other styles. I’ve heard bands which are great at pop/rock/country/indie covers but couldn’t play a ceilidh dance to save their lives. You guys are amazing! You can play all the Scottish ceilidh stuff AND make it rocky AND play all these other styles from pop to rock to country to whatever! Amazing! "

"What can I say? If you are a fan of Irish music, instrumental or with vocals then Dermot and the rest of the amazing musicians are who you need to hire! They were an absolute joy and a pleasure to have play at my beloved father's wake. They are such lovely and friendly people as well as fantastic musicians with a vast array of instrumentation between them. They graciously accepted requests prior to the event and also from some of the guests. My dad would have absolutely loved it and it made a very sad day very joyful and comforting for everyone. Our guests commented on how wonderful they were and the pub staff as well. I highly recommend hiring Dermot and the gang for any event, not just a wake. Communication was excellent before hand and hiring Dermot and the band were the easiest part of the many arrangements that we had to make when organising our dad's funeral and a wake. We sincerely thank you and highly recommend you, The O'Brien family."
