"Sorry for the delay in writing, but i would like to say a massive THANK YOU for recommending 'Party Sounds' and arranging for them to play at our Silver Wedding Celebrations. They were everything I had hoped they would be, and more. I was impressed that Mark took the time and trouble to keep in touch with me by telephone rather than by email (which can get a bit messy) and to discuss our likes and dislikes about the music for the evening. They arrived on time at the golf club and we just left the rest to them. It was lovely to be able to put trust in their professionalism and knowledge of their clients preferences to play all evening. We had kept it a closely guarded secret from our guests that we were having a band, and they were really impressed and pleased with what they saw and heard. My one regret is that I was mixing and talking with our guests so much that I didn't really get to fully appreciate the band as I would if I were a guest at someone else's party! I am trying to talk my friends into doing the same, so that I can listen to them again. However, whenever I did draw breath, the sound was exactly like they were playing a CD version of the song - I had to keep checking that it was actually Mark and his colleagues who were really singing - and, oh boy , it most definitely was!! So thank you once again, and please feel free to use my words as recommendation to others. 'Party Sounds' would definitely be my first choice of music for any events in the future. I don't even think I would consider hiring a DJ ever again :)"

"The Blaggers played at our wedding recently in Lichfield, they had travelled up from London especially. We were really impressed with their set and talent. I would highly recommend for an occasion. All our guests commented on how fantastic they sounded. So happy we booked them."

"For our school's 60th celebration picnic we wanted live music to create a good atmosphere for both the children and parents. Mark had kids, teachers, mums and dads all singing along and dancing. He is excellent at reading a crowd and adjusting the music to suit the event. He is a great singer and performer and I can really recommend him for any event. Thank you Mark for adding so much to our day. We had loads of complements after and everybody loved him."

"A great day, made even better by the efforts and skills of It's No' Reel. We all loved the jigs, reels and much needed help to get the dances right. Tom and the band went that extra yard to help with the first dance and farewell dance. Much appreciated and highly recommended."

"Having Absolute Band topped off our perfect day. I don't think we really got any photos as everyone was dancing from the moment they came on. In fact, I think people were even dancing to their sound check! Communication was great throughout the booking process and we liked that you could choose to add certain musicians so we included a fiddler as we wanted some Irish classics too. The band played two brilliant sets and before we knew it, the night was over. Exactly how we wanted our wedding to end, with everyone wanting more! "It was a pleasure to welcome singer Ruby to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. She treated staff, patients and their families to a musical treat in the main hospital atrium singing a range of classics from the 1940s, ‘50s and ‘60s. Ruby performed for an hour and attracted people from all over the hospital to come and watch. She has great charisma and her interaction with those who watched was lovely and it was good to see the smiles on people's faces who passed by. If you want a fabulous voice and an amazing presence then Ruby is your lady!"
