"I would like to say that I feel privileged to have had Melisma performing at our retirement party. Everything about Melisma Jazz band was wonderful, they all looked very smart and professional and their performance was absolutley fantastic. Many asked where I had found them and others just thought I knew Sarah-Jane personally as she was so friendly! I cannot thank Melisma Jazz enough for making our event such a wounderful success, we will have lovely memories of the afternoon which seemed to end too soon - I just wanted them to play on and on! "I just wanted to drop you a quick line to say how fantastic the band were at our wedding at Christmas. They 'read the room' perfectly, and delivered an excellent performance that created a great atmosphere and got the room dancing! Their unique style of delivering well known songs with a gypsy / folk twist was really well received as they didn't try to replicate the song exactly- making them less of a cover band which was just what we wanted. They were also super easy to work with and really relaxed on the day. The fact they also learnt a new song for our first dance was really special! I would not hesitate to recommend them! "

"We booked the Black Velvet Band Gypsy Duo (accordion and fiddle) to play at our wedding celebration garden party in August. Mike and Jase played exactly the music we wanted, a lovely mix of traditional, modern, jazz, Irish and were happy to play requests. We live on a farm and when the duo started up, all our cows came running up the field and stayed close to enjoy the lovely sounds coming from the garden. I have to say, the two were perfect for our garden party and the sound of the fiddle and accordion ringing out into the evening was absolutely lovely and was thoroughly enjoyed by our guests whose ages ranged from six to ninety! Mike and Jase are lovely, affable chaps and we should have no hesitation in booking them again if we have another “do”! I highly recommend them. "

"We hired Swing Gitan for the drinks reception at our annual Property Management conference in June 2016 after they performed at our office opening in 2014. The booking process was very simple and the responsiveness to our initial enquiry was excellent. The band arrived well before they were due to perform despite and aweful journey! All memebers were dressed professionally and suitable for the occasion. They truly added to the ambiance of the event and we not hesitate to recommend or book Swing Gitan for future occasions as the feedback from our deleates has been fantastic!"

"Caravan Swing has entranced our tea shop twice now. Each time with only a modicum of advertising the place was packed to the rafters. Pure magic, they can take you on a journey back in time to foreign lands and bring you home again all in the space of a few minutes, they can play infectiously dancing music, and lull you into a trance with soulful ballads. The audience has been rapturous each time. Can't wait to get them back."

"We booked the BVB for our wedding in April at Stonehouse Court. We specified Celtic music and they were excellent – they even learned a song for me to sing with them in two weeks flat! True musicians who really know their stuff. They were punctual and did not skimp on time – not taking lengthy breaks between songs which I know some do. A really great experience – I thoroughly recommend them."

"The band's five piece line up provided afternoon background jazz out on the piazza before our event which created a lovely atmosphere and then later in the evening, the seven piece band played all of their fabulous party music. "What a great way to celebrate St Patrick’s day at our Cons club! The performance went amazingly well! The dance floor was full on a SUNDAY AFTERNOON! I put that down to the guys who played songs and tunes with such an exciting beat that you just couldn’t stay still. The whole afternoon was huge fun. I highly recommend the band."

"Here at Heart events we love The Misophone Collective. They played in our cafe on Tuesday night 30 April and they were amazing, we would welcome them back anytime. They started off with some Django Reinhart style numbers, playing in particular to the strengths of the 2 violins. In the second set they moved into a European gypsy theme getting more and more hectic and lively. The audience loved them and were up clapping and dancing- almost dancing on the tables! "
