The Cesarz Tabor Guitar and Violin Duo play classical recitals, weddings and parties in a wide variety of styles. Both are highly trained classical musicians, studying in Manchester and London respectively, but have expanded their repertoire to include some fiery tangos, melancholic Eastern European folk, and danceable pop tunes.
Dominic Cesarz is a performing guitarist, teacher and collaborator currently living in Bristol, UK. After studying Music at Kingston University, Dominic began teaching professionally in Greater London. Later, while performing regularly, he also undertook a master’s degree specialising in Guitar Performance at Royal Holloway, University of London. Already a skilled performer in multiple traditional genres, he was recently awarded a Diploma (ABRSM) for a challenging programme of late 20th-century music including works by Leo Brouwer and Toru Takemitsu. Dominic has taught internationally, including a year in Mexico City, while continuing to perform as a solo musician and with small ensembles. Dominic is also a keen electric guitarist and studies music from around the world including makam and hindustani classical music.
Oscar Tabor is a violinist, pianist and teacher, performing in the UK and abroad. Having completely his undergraduate studies at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, he has toured internationally, settling in Berlin for several years and developing an acute interest in Tango, Klezmer and Gypsy Jazz. Whilst regularly giving classical recitals, Oscar also runs a jazz band and has played in numerous, wildly varied outfits, gigging and recording for various internationally-recognised artists. Now living full time in Bristol and putting down roots after many years of travelling and collecting musical experience and knowledge, Oscar is a full time gigging musician.
Dominic and Oscar met early in the summer of 2023, and immediately found that they both wanted to dedicate considerable time and energy to playing and performing together. Their mutual love of classical, jazz and various folk and world musics made them compatible, along with a shared passion for bringing these genres to new audiences, with fresh and exciting flavours. Dominic and Oscar’s shared repertoire is constantly expanding and evolving, featuring Vivaldi, Piazzolla, Django Reinhardt, Paganini and much more. Both members of the Duo have years of experience playing at weddings, birthday parties and corporate events, in addition to performing and recording with established and popular artists.

We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
We normally arrive 30-60 minutes before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.
Yes we are more than happy to perform outside, though of course we will need cover to protect our instruments if it is raining!
