"It's time i left a review in general as Nick has performed many times for us at the HQ. It's hard to put into words how simply great he is, i am in my 30's and had a rather soft spot for him for as long as i can remember as many do. I did have a peek at what others had written and can only echo everything they have said. Perfect vocals, perfect guitar skills....looks fantastic (body too !)... He is extremely laid back in every way except when he performs, not often you get a blend of a talented musician and a trained full contact fighter (now understand the body !!!) ,,, You can tell he doesn't just work out in the gym but has probably spent many hours honing his musical skills too. Cannot believe he is 43...looks so much younger as we all say. Maybe a different type of review but i can't just go on about how amazing his musicianship is lol...til we see you again xxx"

"Steven created a beautiful, friendly, relaxed and cosy atmosphere. He took classic songs that are heard a lot but gave them your unique spin. This resulted in them sounding like songs we had never heard before but guests could still sing along to. The uniqueness of offering the ukulele songs was really special!"

"James was excellent and added an extra dimension to our party. He was incredibly entertaining and very talented, all our guests commented on how impressed they were with him and his music. James does a really interesting twist on lots of music genres and I could listen to him again and again. He was also a real pleasure to deal with both during the booking process and on the night and was very keen to ensure the playlist was what we wanted, even learning several new songs which are favourites of mine. I would not hesistate to recommend James or book him again, just need another excuse for a party now! "

"We found Steven’s website and really liked his sample music. We got in touch with Steven with a request to perform at our wedding and found him really easy to communicate with. The booking process was simple and he answered all of the questions we had – as well as making suggestions for us to consider. Steven remained in touch until just before the wedding, and contacted the venue directly to ensure that everything would run smoothly on the day. With somewhat unpredictable weather right up until the morning of the wedding, Steven was really flexible and in the end provided an acoustic set for the reception and moved to his PA set-up for the wedding breakfast. Steven was absolutely brilliant live and we had so many comments from guests about how much they enjoyed listening to him. A few even asked for Steven’s details with a view to booking him in the future, as we certainly will do next time we are planning any sort of event. Thank you, Steven for helping us make the day so special."

"Steven arrived with ample time and even started playing early entertaining our guests as they arrived. His song choices were perfect for the occasion and we’ve received numerous compliments on how brilliant he was. We would book him again for other occasions and would recommend him to others. The booking process was easy and communication was great throughout. The free handmade CD’s were an added bonus!"

"We chose Stuart to play at our wedding ceremony and I couldn't have been happier with our choice! Stuart's communication before the day was excellent and he went the extra mile by answering all of our questions and even learning a special request for us. Stuart's music really set the perfect atmosphere for the day and I couldn't have been more pleased! I'd highly recommend Stuart to anyone looking for gorgeous acoustic music for their wedding or event."

"Nicky sang at our wedding in June this year and I can't recommend her enough! As well as being incredibly talented, with a beautiful voice and amazing guitar playing, Nicky is also so so lovely. Music was such a special and important part of mine and my husband's big day, we wanted it to be personal and unique and Nicky went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect for us. Nicky was open to learning anything we asked of her and was so helpful and responsive right from the start. We couldn't have asked for any more! I wouldn't hesitate to book Nicky for a wedding, or any other event, you are guaranteed stunning performances and amazing help from start to finish. Thank you so much Nicky for making the music on our big day so incredible and for creating the perfect atmosphere for our ceremony and drinks reception with the personal touch we dreamt of."

" Liverpool Sound and Vision Rating * * * * As Donald Rumsfeld once said, so famously causing the scratching of heads in consternation and dismay, “There are known knowns and unknown knowns…” yet somehow such double talk and heroic word play should be left to Rev. Ferriday and The Longdogs, for in their new albumUnforgettable Trues and Everyday Lies, the lyrical force of nature is far and away more direct, succinct and wonderfully managed than anything a politician could scramble together. Unforgettable is a mark that deservedly belongs to the band, the memorable and the cherished going hand in hand as their deep love of the Blues comes bounding across with enthusiastic vigour and in the case of this new album, with a darker edge, with an anger of the age attached to it, still very much enjoyable but somehow more threatening, more beautifully intimidating and yet at the same time never once wavering in its commitment to allow the listener to internally dance and shake loose; the Devil after all will always allow the angels to boogie on down. Everyday lies, whether those we tell ourselves to keep us going in the face of adversity or those we pronounce to others in order to impress or deflect our feelings, each one has its symbolic value; the same is said for the true-isms, the emphasise on what is clear and unvarnished, perhaps even understated, yet at all times striking and rich. Unforgettable Trues and Everyday Lies allows the freedom of movement within the confines of Blues to be explored and with Neil Sadler on bass, Scott Hunter on drums, the fabulous Owen Bray on harmonica and Else Black lending some terrific backing vocals, Rev. Ferriday captures the mood with pin-point accuracy. In tracks such as Broken People, Breaking Down, Shooting From The Hip and How Long, the music is contagious, it sweeps through the veins like a miniature train buffeting against stereotype intuition and scraping down in blocks of perpetual indifference with ease. This is an album that emphasises the battle in the way that words are seen and felt, it takes a writer of absolute skill to make a menacing note come across as nothing less that beauty personified and yet Rev. Ferriday manages with absolute conviction. A joy to be back in the company of Rev. Ferriday and The Longdogs, a fact of life that gets better and better each time they come around. Ian D. Hall"
