"Rachel entertained us at our WI Group meeting - we had a really wonderful evening she immediately set everybody at ease with her lovely warm personality. She sang beautifully to a mixed age group choosing from a wide range of songs - classical/ musical and modern. She even managed several requests as well. "We booked Jo at short notice as we had been let down at the last moment and Jo stepped in to save the day despite having a gig earlier in the day. Everybody was really impressed by the quality of Jo's voice, era matching dresses and her performance. Her choice of songs was perfect for our guests and got all ages dancing. We would recommend Retro Rita unreservedly. "

"We booked Carlos to play at our garden party for the Coronation. Carlos let us send him a list of music that we wanted him to play in advance and made sure that he understood the type and variety of music that we wanted him to play. He arrived promptly on the day of our event and was polite and courteous through all our dealings with him. He did 2 excellent sets which had our guests up and dancing! Carlos was a great addition to our event and we would definitely book him again. Thank you so much Carlos!"

"We just wanted to say thank you again, it's really difficult choosing a wedding band as you can't see people live... your video looked good but although it was great speaking to you before to be honest it still seemed like a little bit of a gamble before hand.... "Myself and my friend hired Sue to play at my best friends wedding in December this year. Luckily she was available at very short notice . She was accommodating and excellent on the sax and lovely to deal with in the lead up to the event We were so glad she was able to help and would definitely book her again for any future events we have! "This band are the real deal. I have never known a band put so much effort into a party. James was like road runner in speed with replying throughout and everything you need was covered by him, we were left with no worries on the entertainment front. On the day the band came in good time to setup, their equipment is ridicules compared to what I expected, the sound system is so clear and lights are brilliant. I watched the soundcheck while I was also preparing things and when I heard the final result I knew the evening would be amazing. Song choices were just spot on, Liz can sing anything and they actually ended up playing for about two and a half hours as people just wanted to keep partying. I booked them for a couple of hours originally. I will conclude by saying James and his band deserve every penny they get, they will do a proper job and are all around down to earth people and brilliant musicians."
