You are going to be so excited about this! Bob is happy to provide you with his song list, and you are welcome to select any of the songs on that list for your event. He is open to requests and will learn a couple of songs that are special to you, so feel free to suggest some tunes.
Bob is a newcomer to the Last Minute musicians agency, but he has a long and successful history in the entertainment industry, having spent 27 years as a full-time singer/entertainer and worked with numerous other agencies.
Bob is a versatile musician whose musical repertoire encompasses a wide range of genres, including Scottish, Irish, and American folk music, popular hits from the 1960s to the 1990s, country music, and even his own original compositions.
With an array of genres at his disposal, Bob can perform any genre individually or blend them together to craft a unique and unforgettable performance at your event.
From intimate folk clubs to large-scale festivals, Bob's performances have graced a wide array of stages, including pubs, corporate events, theatres, house concerts, street events, and even intimate gatherings like birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, and divorces. He has also brought his talents to care homes, community centers, restaurants, and hotels, and has even enjoyed appearances on television and radio.
Bob's impressive resume includes performances at two iconic Scottish landmarks, Stirling Castle and Edinburgh Castle.
Equipped with wireless microphones for both his voice and guitar, Bob has the ability to roam various spaces, such as a room, venue, concert hall, marquee, or even outside, interacting with the audience and guests. Audience members rave about Bob's concerts, especially the part where he interacts with them, which allows him to have fun and connect with them in a personal way.
Bob's music has a magical effect on audiences, turning his songs into instant singalongs that everyone happily joins in on, resulting in a lively and energetic environment. Bob is a versatile musician and can play both lively music for entertainment and soothing background music for meals and other events.
Bob, like the characters in the movies "Braveheart" and "Rob Roy" or the television show "Outlander," can often be seen wearing modern and colorful versions of the traditional tartans featured in these productions.
It is important to note, however, that Bob is willing to dress more casually, especially if requested for events like country music concerts.
Bob welcomes concert bookings not only throughout the UK but also across various countries in Europe. Scotland, Denmark, Germany, and the Netherlands stand out as particularly important in this situation.
Bob is eager to connect with you to brainstorm ways to elevate his performance and make your event truly memorable.
Depending on your requirements, Bob has the flexibility to incorporate additional instruments into the concert.
No strings attached, no pressure to book: Bob offers free quotes for your convenience.
Given Bob's hectic schedule, it's strongly advised to connect with him as soon as possible.

Reviews Bob Ferguson songwriter solo-
Ruth Glasgow Eastend Carers. 29th May, 2024 Bob sang and performed for our carers group giving them a great afternoon of memories of songs, singing and dancing. An afternoon of laughter and entertainment.
UK Military Forces Burns Night Concert 27th January 2024. Bob was booked for a Burns supper. He was really flexible in what he could offer; I was asking him to play over a prolonged period of time, not a 40min 'set'. He engaged with the crowd brilliantly, and really brought the songs to life. I would absolutely recommend to anyone and would absolutely use again, thank you Bob.
Birthday Party in Pencaitland, Tranent December, 3rd, 2023, Lorna Hepburn Wonderful entertainer, a real crowd pleaser. Bob sang for my mum’s 90th birthday celebration and was a hit with young(er) and old alike. He has a great voice and is also an entertaining story teller. His performance was the highlight of the night for my mum. Highly recommended.
