About / Biography

Bob is new to the Last Minute musicians agency although he has worked with other agencies for many years successfully, and has dedicated the past 27 years of his life to being a full-time singer/entertainer.

Bob's musical repertoire spans across multiple genres, showcasing his diverse talent and passion for music.

Hire Bob for an unforgettable musical experience that spans across Scottish, Irish, and American folk, as well as mainstream hits from the 60s to the 90s, and country tunes.

Bob can showcase any of these genres individually, or blend them together for a unique performance at your event.

Bob's performances have spanned across a wide range of venues and events, such as folk clubs, pubs, corporate events, theatres, festivals, house concerts, street events, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, divorces, care homes, community centres, restaurants, hotels, as well as TV and radio appearances.

By utilizing wireless microphones for both his voice and guitar, Bob has the freedom to move around various spaces such as a room, venue, concert hall, marquee, or even outside, interacting with the audience and guests. Bob's concerts are always a hit with the audience, and they particularly love this part because it allows Bob to interact and have fun with them.

Whenever Bob performs, his songs become instant singalong hits, with everyone happily participating and creating a lively mood. On the other hand, Bob is not only capable of performing lively music but can also provide soothing background music during meals and other similar events.

Similar to the tartans showcased in the Braveheart movie or the Outlander series, Bob is often seen donning colorful and modern versions of these traditional patterns. However, it should be noted that Bob can adopt a more casual attire if specifically requested, especially for country music concerts.

In terms of employment, Bob is open to opportunities across the UK as well as in different countries throughout Europe. Notably, Scotland, Denmark, Germany, and the Netherlands are especially relevant in this context.

Bob would like to have a conversation with you to determine the ways in which he can enhance his performance for your event.

Depending on your requirements, Bob has the flexibility to incorporate additional instruments into the concert.

Bob offers completely free quotes with no strings attached and no requirement to make a booking.

Due to Bob's busy schedule, it is highly recommended to get in touch with him as soon as possible.

Reviews Bob Ferguson songwriter solo-

Ruth Glasgow Eastend Carers. 29th May, 2024 Bob sang and performed for our carers group giving them a great afternoon of memories of songs, singing and dancing. An afternoon of laughter and entertainment.

UK Military Forces Burns Night Concert 27th January 2024. Bob was booked for a Burns supper. He was really flexible in what he could offer; I was asking him to play over a prolonged period of time, not a 40min 'set'. He engaged with the crowd brilliantly, and really brought the songs to life. I would absolutely recommend to anyone and would absolutely use again, thank you Bob.

Birthday Party in Pencaitland, Tranent December, 3rd, 2023, Lorna Hepburn Wonderful entertainer, a real crowd pleaser. Bob sang for my mum’s 90th birthday celebration and was a hit with young(er) and old alike. He has a great voice and is also an entertaining story teller. His performance was the highlight of the night for my mum. Highly recommended.
