The Marvellous Souls is a versatile, dynamic, exciting 5 – 10 piece live band for weddings, corporate and parties. Specialising in (but not limited to) Pop, Soul and Motown.

Over a decade of experience using carefully selected songs for each event to pack the dancefloor. Using unique and exciting song transitions to keep the party flowing, once
people start to dance, they have no reason to stop. All members have worked in the function entertainment industry for at least 7 years, some much more! The band are full-time professional musicians, putting a lot of time into rehearsals and always keeping things exciting and fresh to give a memorable experience every time.

Members are down-to-earth, polite and courteous. Every event is treated bespoke and only the most professional, smooth-running party is guaranteed. We have morals, values and high standards, which shows in our performance. It's all about fun and setting the party atmosphere, there are no limits to the fun we have and every event ends on a high, every time. We are happy with audience interaction and are not precious, we have had “tambourine-offs” to guest drummers in the name of having a good time.

Two members of the band are professional DJs, so we can cover your whole event with no duplicate songs, and the whole evening will run smoothly with seamless hangovers. Two members are sound engineers, all our equipment is of the very highest portable standard. We bring a visual setup, with optional star cloth, flame machines, multiple effects, moving heads, dancefloor and stage lighting and more.
