We can honestly say you and the band exceeded our expectations! Of course, I had seen you perform before but you seemed even more amazing this time around. ?? The feedback from our wedding guests was unbelievable and they were so blown away by your performance, one guest commented she will remember the evening forever! Your professionalism, talent and approach to ensuring your guests feel welcome and included was fantastic. "I just want to place on record my sincere thanks to you all for your superb performance on Saturday night at my 50th Birthday Party. We all thoroughly enjoyed the music and didn't want it to end. The dance floor was full throughout the night and with dancers of all ages. - a real tribute to your artistry. Many of us woke up on Sunday morning quite bleary eyed but with so many of your wonderful tunes going around in our heads. You have created many many happy memories. "The Starcasters smashed it at our party and made it a very special night. They’re highly accomplished and versatile musicians, so were able to fully accommodate our requests, playing two sets that featured differing styles and eras. They had the room up dancing and greatly impressed a friend who is a top level musician himself - best two compliments you could have! Greg was also very friendly and professional to deal with, providing great communication in advance and on the night."

"Absolutely amazing band! So much better than I imagined from their promo videos. Literally, everyone at the party adored them and thought thye were awesome (that word was used several times). They were also just lovely people who were a pleasure to have around. The singing was off the charts and I can not recommend them highly enough."

"After spending weeks looking for a wedding band who could play more than the standard fare, we were intrigued on seeing their repertoire; finally a band who could satisfy all the guests with a mixture of classy soul, RnB and pop. Once we listened to their demo we were sold; it was clear that Rebecca has the voice of an angel. However, this didn’t prepare us for the performance on the day, which exceeded all expectations. Love songs delivered with heartbreaking beauty and pop that had everyone off their seats until the last note of the evening. Rebecca and the Somerset Soul are a wedding band for the discerning listener who gave us the perfect end to a perfect day."

"We thought Down for the Count did an outstanding job and so did all of our friends and family. Everyone could not stop raving about how great the music was. Honestly, we wouldn't have changed a thing and were so impressed. Most of all, it was so special to hear New York, New York as a closing song and we really appreciate your initiative to create those extra special touches for us! Without a doubt, we would recommend Down for the Count to any other friends getting married."
