"I just wanted to say such a huge thank you for the amazing performance that you gave. You were so friendly and willing to help in any way that any nervousness about getting up to dance was immediately dismissed. I was extremely apprehensive prior to the night about how the dancing would go down, especially with my two left feet! However my worrying was in vain, what a fantastic night of dancing it was, so inclusive that any and all can get up and get involved, aged 5 or 105. You need no experience or talent, just listen to the brilliant calling, it’s all simple moves but when it comes together with all your friends and family on the night, prepare to be amazed. I can not thank the band enough for making our Wedding such a fantastic night, I have never seen so many people thoroughly enjoying themselves all at once. I can sincerely recommend the Black Velvet Band for any social occasion, your expectations will be exceeded."

Their voices are superb and distinctly outstanding, and the music choices superbly selected to suit the event. "We booked Stargazers for our wedding in August 2022 and LOVED every second of their performance! They had all our guests dancing all night long and everyone is still talking about how amazing they were. The band kindly helped play music in between sets and took recommendations from the guests. Rhona, their manager was lovely to chat to before the wedding to see what kind of songs we wanted to play and they also played our first dance song! Stargazers really turned it from a wedding in to a Party and made our day so special! Would really recommend to anyone! "

"We both wanted to extend our thanks for the wonderful music the BVB accordion and fiddle duo performed for us on our wedding day. We both had an amazing time and really felt that Mike and Jase added to the day immeasurably. Stef in particular enjoyed the special attention that was given to her by the duo - the guys played an instrumental version of her favourite song - and we both loved seeing family members singing along to Dutch classics. The interaction with the duo themselves was excellent and certainly helped us feel relaxed in both the run up to and on the day itself."
