"We hired Kirsty for a Nineties themed parted at Defence Academy. A consultation was conducted ahead of the event to confirm access, power, and location etc, ensuring that everything was set up in time, in the right location, without having to bother the organisers on the night. The set list was excellent and had been put together following the consultation. Kirsty managed the energy of the room perfectly and the set up was highly professional. Would definitely hire again."

"Just a few words to say how much everyone enjoyed your band's playing at Gillian and Jeremy's wedding on Saturday evening. Your calling of the dances was excellent and you succeeded in getting lots of folk on to the dance floor. Many had never been to a ceilidh before, but you made it so easy for them to understand the steps. It was a super evening from start to finish and much fun was had by all. "The Black Velvet Band provided us with a fantastic ceilidh for our wedding reception. They really got everyone up and moving, so much better than a boring DJ set. They were even accommodating to our more inebriated guests and explained the dance moves clearly. We had a wonderful time and would consider them again for future parties."

"Well what can we say! Eljay were absolutely fantastic arrived on time with equipment set up ready for the evening. They sang lots of different songs from old to new keeping the ears of our guests entertained ready for more. Lucy was absolutely amazing such a talented lady would love to have thwmat another event. The only down side was that the evening seemed to go to fast but as the saying goes time flys when your having fun. Would so love to see them again in the future absolutely fantastic performance what an amazing band."
