"I've had the tremendous good fortune to have been asked to call ceilidh dances with Kellys on numerous occasions. It's never difficult to get people up on the dance floor once Helen kicks off on the accordion, and when Steve's driving rhythm guitar comes in, coupled with Tony's pounding bodhran, the only 'problem' is getting people to sit down and have a breather between dances! And when you get Simon and John bumping it up to a 5-piece with fiddle and banjo (plus various pipes and whistles) well, all I can say is "Hold on to your socks!""

"THE BLACK JACKS... Finding a wedding band is tough- you search on google, watch a couple of videos of a number of different bands, and have to settle for one not really knowing whether they’re any good live. Having done this, we were hopeful that The Black Jacks would be alright. They were BRILLIANT. From our first dance (The Kinks, You Really Got Me- which they do excellently!) to the last dance of the night, the dance floor was packed. They even smashed the DJ-ing of the iTunes music in the break between sets, playing great music that complimented the live songs. Every person that we have spoken to after the day has mentioned how great the music was. On top of all this, they are the nicest people- totally relaxed when our timings went out of the window, great to chat to at the end of the evening, and they even offered my mum a lift back to her hotel when we were let down by a cab! Thank you for a great evening guys. I cannot recommend them enough. Book this band!"

"We waited a few days to write this review on account of all of the clearing up we’ve done since our Wedding party. This is relevant because it means I am not writing this on a high - it’s objectively true... Audio Riot have been literally phenomenal from day ONE of enquiry. Their communication has been faster than anyone I think we’ve ever worked with. They put solicitors, practitioners, contractors and even accountants to shame in terms of their promptness and professionalism. I cannot stress this enough. We were left with no questions, their user friendly communication and questionnaires answered questions we didn’t even realise we had yet. Their communication between booking to event date was regular and friendly. This took any stress we could have had in planning a band away - meaning we could concentrate on everything else to plan. On planning: our wedding party itself was amazing. The band - namely; Ian - coordinated everything for us! Cutting of the cake / first dance / blessing - everything. It was like having a showbiz, extremely talented musician also acting as an on the night events planner! The show set up was WAY above what we expected. The lights turned our hall into a legitimate show - and it seemed like they managed to do this without any interruption all the while playing some great music to keep our guests entertained. Oh my goodness - they were PHENOMENAL on stage. They had the people dancing ALL evening. I don’t think I’ve seen 3 encores at a wedding ? - but it was at least 3 plus DJ sets that only inspired more dancing and singing! The only regret is that we don’t have another event lined up that we can invite them to play. If anyone is looking for an extremely good band, excellent performance, fantastic taste in music, the friendliest of people and next level professionalism - these are your team. Thank you Audio Riot for putting the magic into our special day. Honestly couldn’t have asked or hoped for more. With thanks and love, Louis and Stacey Chavannes"

"Luke and the rest of the band were absolutely amazing and far exceeded our expectations and truly made the day extra special. Right from the music for the ceremony through to the first dances and the whole set...they were fantastic. They really looked like they were enjoying it too and their enthusiasm didn't falter even on the last song! All of our guests have commented on how good they were and how they made the night. The fact that the dance floor was always full speaks volumes and we would highly recommend Absolute for any event. "I stumbled across the band through a google search. We were looking for a band for our leaving do. I loved the hip hop melody on their website...they were even better live! Everyone of the 150 guests at our party raved about how great they were! Even my husband, who does not dance, was on the dance floor by the end of the night! I honestly can’t rave about them enough! "Too professional for words, The Back Beat Buskers came to us on a recommendation. We booked the guys for our wedding, and it couldn’t have gone better. They know how to play, and they know how to get people on the dance floor! They were just brilliant. Their acoustic set was exceptional, ‘versatile’ should be their middle name. We cannot recommend this band enough."

"Before the event Dave did everything possible to work with us and make sure that it all went without a hitch, which was much appreciated. He and the rest of his group were friendly and professional throughout, and our guests loved seeing the joy they so clearly get from what they do. We hadn’t tried jazz at our hotel before, but it went down really well and we received lots of great feedback."
