"The three chaps that make up this band were fantastic on the night, I've had nothing but compliments from the many people in attendance. The music they played was perfect, my 80 year old Irish father who's party it was hasn't stopped smiling since Saturday night. They actually learnt a song which is one of his favourites for the night. And it went down very well. I would recommend the lads to my friends and family events in the future for sure. Many thanks. "106 Miles to Chicago performed for my Husband's surprise 50th Birthday party and were amazing. So much fun, and had all the guests up dancing and doing the moves... and even singing! The 'stage' looked great too, with the american flags and pictures of the boys either side - Wife, Family and guests all very happy. Husband elated. Very successful night. Thank you Andy and Chris for making it such a good one!"

"Booked Off The Wall for my dads 50th they had people up dancing and singing along to their music off the wall even let us request a song that my dad absolutely loves ‘Living on a prayer’ highly recommend very genuine very polite gentleman and will answer any questions you have, so if you love all the oldie song like we do get booking x"

"I booked the It's No' Reel Ceilidh Band to play at a Burns event I was hosting in Scotland for an international group of friends, mostly based in Germany. The band quickly gauged the experience of the group and provided a selection of music that ensured everyone enjoy themselves dancing. The dance floor was always packed despite it being most of the guests' first ceilidh. On the practical side they also turned up on time, set up and packed up quickly and without fuss, and coped with our frequent schedule changes on the night with a smile. I would strongly recommend them"

"A big, big thanks to you and It's No' Reel for coming to play at our wedding in Staffordshire - you guys were an immense success! Everything was seamless, from the correspondence before the wedding to the performance on the night. As we had guests from all over the world, only a handful were familiar with ceilidh dancing but thanks to your brilliant calling and great tunes you managed to get everyone up on the dance floor (even the least likely!) from our 8yr old Australian nephew to our parents and grandparents. We had such a wonderful time and the Strip the Willow finalé will go down as wedding legend amongst our friends! "A great act with strong chemistry and superb vocals and harmonies. They have a great catalogue of popular covers and the odd original covering a range of genres and are guaranteed to get the crowd going. I have worked with them on numerous occasions. They’re lovely people and great to work with. I highly recommend it."

"Professional, fun and excellent musicians. This band is superb in every way! They played a selection of high-energy, swinging tunes which got everyone up and dancing. The lead singer was adept at reading the crowd, sensing what got people moving and tailoring the music accordingly, making a fun night for all involved. I might have to plan another party, just so I can hire them again!"

"We wanted to get in touch to officially thank you for helping to make our big day even more special. Alice and I spent many evenings sitting at home ploughing through online video clips of bands and were so pleased we found Stargazers. The band lived up to our expectations and made our day even more special. Thank you to both you and Andy for playing the acoustic set while the photos were being taken. While we didn’t get to hear much of this, our guests were extremely complimentary and your music was enjoyed by everyone. Thank you for bearing with us in the evening. Alice and I had an absolutely brilliant evening and really enjoyed dancing the night away. Stargazers was everything we wanted and much, much more! You were so kind with the bridesmaids and my nephew who joined in the Bandeoke. They felt so special and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Our guests loved every minute of it! You played a fantastic mix of songs which got everyone up and dancing for the whole evening. We have never danced so much but thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! "

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio / 08/04/2023 / Ceilidh for Eastercon 2023 (Sci Fi enthusiast's convention) We had a fun-filled, joyous ceilidh, thanks to the amazing, talented Black Velvet Band.The band members are great fun. Alan had us laughing so much with his warmth and humour when calling the dances. The booking process was straightforward and professional. When I talked on the phone to Mike in advance, I was assured that these guys knew their stuff. When I requested non-gendered calling, that was no problem. The band are very versatile - they added a little Star Trek and Dr Who music, seamlessly, into the ceilidh tunes, to give us an extra-special thrill!
