"“Absolutely loved this band! They looked and sounded incredible! Completely worth every penny and more! If like us you appreciate good music, played well and don’t want to compromise on it for your wedding then I would strongly recommend hiring this band. Every person I spoke to afterwards said they were the best wedding band they had ever heard and wanted their details. The dance floor was packed from start to finish whilst we got our funk on! We have had so many comments from our friends saying how much they enjoyed the music and what a brilliant singer Sam is. "Hi James, We are very sorry it has taken so long to send this email - obviously it has been a while since our wedding... Firstly, the obvious - you and the band were absolutely awesome! Everything we knew we would get from a Soulshine performance - slamming groove, high energy, slick performance, wonderful vibes everywhere - were there in spades. You delivered the party in as spectacular a way as we knew you would, and it was just so much fun on that dance floor, so no surprise it was full all night. We are also incredibly grateful for all the ways that you went above and beyond the normal call of duty to make the music perfect for us... "The Marvellous Motown Souls played our wedding and absolutely smashed it. We had old classics, pop favourites, slow dances and head bangers. I would describe it as dance floor rocking, glow stick throwing, inflatable guitar weilding, music madness! The whole dancefloor was packed from the start and we've heard nothing but great reviews from all our guests. Thank you so much for including our random requests and making it a night to remember. "We booked Gloria and Patrick for my mums 60th birthday party in a restaurant. My mum is a huge Motown fan and GG was able to customise her repertoire to sing all of my mums favourites. NOW IF YOU ARE READING THIS DON'T WASTE A SECOND LONGER AND BOOK THESE GUYS!!! GG has a stunning voice and I truly believe could sing absolutely anything, on top of this she is super friendly and a stunning performer. Patrick’s guitar skills just add to the magic of this performance and gives it that extra authenticity which makes this so much more than a singer singing to a backing track! We had the best night ever and more importantly so did my beautiful mum,she cried her eyes out and GG made sure to make my mum feel extra special - AMAZING!!! And by the way - way under-priced for what we saw! BOOK THEM!! Don’t waste time looking around!"

"We booked the Smokin Mirrors for our 10 year anniversary and they made the whole event! I received so many compliments about the music...They brought all of the sound equipment and took care of everything-Stress free and SO FUN. We never wanted them to leave. "We booked these guys through the Son of my now wife for the evening of our wedding. Our only mistake was not booking them for longer on the evening. We should have had them all night. We had Unwritten Duo band. The vocals were awesome and capped a fantastic evening. A mixture of great soulful classics and some slightly more obscure tracks. I’d definitely travel to see these guys and the more intimate the venue the better. They could play big venues but are better in a small place where sing to you not at you. Fantastic set guys and thank you. Xx"

"Thank you so much Maria and the band for playing at my wife Beth’s 30th birthday in Leeds on Friday. Many of the guests have been asking after you since then and many were much later home on the night than they planned as they were too busy dancing! The choice of songs, the quality of the playing and vocal - it was all excellent, perfect for the party and made the night that much more special.
