This has been a trying 14 months, to say the least; our residents in particular have struggled with the realities of a constrained life, without the levels of contact with family and friends that they would normally expect. Bringing something into their lives that takes their mind off thoughts of isolation and loneliness has been essential; you Jessica have helped hugely, perhaps even more than you realise. Your fabulous voice, and your repertoire on each occasion brings great joy, and hope to so many. Not just residents either, staff have loved to hear you sing. "Deep Down Brass were incredible for our corporate Oktoberfest party. They were insanely flexible pre-event and on the night they blew us away. They had the perfect mix of German songs and covers and were able to really get the crowd up on the tables. Would HIGHLY recommend them!!"

"The Rhythm and Blues Revue played again at Shambala, Stanton Calling and How the Light Gets in 2023 as part of the People's Front Room. They are a regular band who perform with us. Brilliant as ever, professional and the crowds loved it! He is also an excellent sound engineer."

"Jess and The Red Hot Rags were amazing. Having planned an small private event for my Father in Law that had to be postponed due to Covid we were delighted to reorganise an outdoor, social distancing event for today. The Red Hot Rags played wonderful music and made a man whose health is rapidly fading very very Happy. I can't thank them enough for all they have done and would recommend them to anyone. "What an incredible pleasure it was to have Rose perform at our Christmas party! The older people who attended rarely get out of the house so for them the whole event was very special! Rose acted with grace and was a total professional. She sang and performed beautifully - in fact one lady said it a was a shame she had to stop because the event came to an end! It was wonderful watching people singing along with Rose around the room. She was so popular that someone asked for her details for a party in their seniors housing scheme next year and we will absolutely be in touch with Rose again to perform at future events."

"Carl and I were honoured to have you perform at our wedding at Stockwith Mill. Wow! We couldn’t have picked anyone better and more fitting and you were a massive contributor to our perfect day. The cover of Home for our first dance was amazing and better than I would have ever imagined, I have played it over and over. So many of our guests complimented on how amazing you were. "Thank you for the amazing job you guys did for our wedding. So rarely do bands live up to the recorded sound, but you were absolutely incredible live and we have had (literally) hundreds of people commenting on how they thought you made the evening. I saw at least four people (including my father and new husband) hit the dancefloor who never, EVER get up and dance, and I can't give you a better review than that! Great choice of songs, great sound and above all very cool set of guys, so thank you. I am going to start thinking about reasons to have another big party so we can have you back! "

"We’ve had really positive feedback from the event and it was a lovely family day. There were approximately 800 residents that came along and enjoyed the entertainment . The band were great and kept in contact with me throughout the day to see if what they were offering was suitable for the event. I was out and about taking photographs of the event and saw several residents having a dance to the brass band or clapping away to the tune. Overall we were really pleased with the entertainment provided and the band were all lovely."

"Hi. I was at the Empire pensioners party at rochdale yesterday. Having been a roady in the 60s for a local group it was fabulous to watch a group of musicians play to perfection all the hits of the 60s and 70s. I hope you come back to rochdale again so I can take myself back to being young again. Xx"

"This band is a class act. Joanne has an unique voice that if heard once, you will instantly recognise. She has a great range and sometimes sings in an operatic tone too. Her husband James is a great guitarist and singer too. They compliment each other and are fun to watch. You will not be disappointed."
