If I have any negative feedback for you, it is that the sample music/info that is available about this band does not do them justice, as we did not dream that they would be as brilliant as they were, which of course is the best sort of surprise you could hope for at your wedding."

Whether it’s a rip-roaring rock song or an emotional ballad, Mel has an uncanny ability to find just the right mood and approach in her vocal performance to compliment the song perfectly. She is able to quickly understand what the songwriter and/or producer is trying to achieve and by using a balance of her exquisite tone and perfectly honed technique she is always able to come up with exactly what is required. Added to that, Mel is a joy to work with in the studio with a fantastic attitude and work ethic. She gets the job done!"

"We booked Unwritten Duo for the first time back in September at our pub in Nottingham. They turned up on time, set up without fuss and performed 3 incredible 45 minutes sets. They played music from the 50s to modern day and put their own style to it. I got some fantastic feedback from my punters and have had them back twice since the first booking. We have them booked in once a month for the next year. Absolutely love their sound and especially love Joanne's vocal ability, such rich tones and power. I highly recommend them for any event!"
