Using the trad jazz instrumentation of sousaphone, banjo, sax and percussion we seek to do what the trad jazzers were doing way back when, ie play the popular music of the day. Why have such stomping instrumentation and then play tunes that are almost 70, or more years old? We will tackle all form and genres, such as Heavy Metal, disco, soul, grunge and regular cheesy pop tunes. This is what we love doing, and all with beautiful 3 part singing harmonies!
We seem to be a favourite, with many couples, as a weddings function band. To get your dancing going, after the wedding meal, most couples opt for a kick-ass band playing all the regular pop/rock/dance covers; with The Rusty Nails you have that, but with a little more individuality than the regular band that slavishly follows the exact moves of the original hit tunes.

My 'best' and favourite gigs are village halls, however we have played stately houses and many stadiums.
I love the intimate feel.
We play what the will most rock the audiences night. Our specific tastes aren't important.
We're here to please
Always had this job, by and large. Never had a 'proper' job. Started gigging when I was 19 essentially. Played internationally, to Royals, Stately homes, and village halls
