Lucinda is a London-based Singer/Actor represented in the musical theatre industry. She is very much a northern girl at heart, born and bred on the Wirral, and comes from a musical family. From a young age, she was surrounded by classical sounds and went on to achieve grade 8 ABRSM violin with distinction at the age of thirteen. This was followed by piano and oboe, but it was when she started singing lessons that her whole world turned on its head and she knew that was exactly what she was born to do. She is a proud alumnus of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (scholarship student) and the University of Manchester. Lucinda is an extremely versatile vocalist with a vocal range from F# below middle C through to E flat above a soprano top C. She loves singing an array of genres including opera, classical crossover, jazz, pop, musical theatre, Motown/soul and folk.
Lucinda has worked for many prestigious opera and theatre companies including Opera Holland Park, Thursford Christmas Spectacular, Longborough Opera Festival, Opera de Baugé, HERA Theatre Company Shone Productions (Fairy Godmother, Cinderella) and she was delighted to have been given the opportunity to be filmed as a soloist for BBC Songs of Praise for their Easter Service in 2016. She has performed as a soloist in prestigious venues such as Wigmore Hall, LSO St Luke’s and a personal highlight for Lucinda was singing alongside Sir Bryn Terfel in a concert version of Verdi's Falstaff at the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.
Over the last few years, Lucinda has diversified her career and has been gigging as a soloist and with various groups. Recent clients/venues she has sung for include the Cunard Queen Victoria, The Westin London City, Hilton Bankside London City, Center Parcs Woburn Forest and she sang in the new year at The Kings Arms in Prestbury, Cheltenham.
Lucinda specialises in opera/classical crossover, jazz, and musical theatre and she also loves singing pop, folk and soul/Motown. She has her own mic, PA system, high-quality backing tracks and her own car so it is very easy for her to travel up and down the country with her equipment. Lucinda has a wealth of experience on stage and is guaranteed to make your event a special one to remember!

I can perform in any space. All I would require is a power socket and a car parking space depending on where the venue is.
Yes, I bring my own PA system and mic to all of my gigs. I don’t provide lighting.
The exact address so that I can easily find the venue and an idea/description of the space I will be performing in is useful.
No.
I would say the best gig/show I’ve ever done is the opera La Traviata at Opera Holland Park. The music is just glorious and it was such a beautiful venue in Holland Park to spend the summer season.
The best venue I’ve ever performed at has to be on a super yacht in the Thames! It was another level of luxury and I’ve something I’d never seen before!
I would say I have a few favourite artists for the different genres I sing. For pop it has to be Adele, I just love her warm/rich sound and she always sings from the heat. For opera I would say Renee Fleming, a stunning voice! For jazz it has to be the iconic Ella Fitzgerald.
Favourite songs from these artists include: Set fire to the rain/Skyfall for Adele, the classic O Mio Babbino Caro for Renee Fleming and Too Darn Hot or any of the Christmas jazz songs from Ella Fitzgerald.
I have been training in music from a very young age and have gigged as a soloist alongside my studies all throughout my 20s. I have a bachelor of music degrees from The University of Manchester and Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and a Masters in Classical and Operatic singing from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I have performed in many professional shows. I am a regular carol singer with Hartley Voices, I have been a singer for Function Band The Phat Cats and I have worked as an immersive actor for Black Rabbit Projects. I have also sung as a soloist as lots of cooperate gigs and private events such as weddings.
I love performing at all types of events! I think there is something truly special though about singing at a wedding and knowing the impact you have had on what is the best day of a couples life.
I can offer a range of genres including opera, classical crossover, jazz, swing, postmodern jukebox, acoustic pop, upbeat pop, easy listening and soul/motown.
I normally arrive between an hour to 2 hours before the event to set up and do a sound check. I have found 2 + 45 minute sets to be very popular. I can make changes to these set timings in order to suit the client as they so wish.
Of course! My PA system is wireless so I don’t need a power supply.
I can definitely learn specific songs before the event. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from my repertoire and I can also make suggestions.
Previous clients have described my voice as beautiful and sure to wow at any event.
