"Let's Smooth Things Over performed for us a week ago at my 60th birthday party. We were extremely impressed at their standard of musicianship and all of our guests raved about them. They have a very good repertoire, from quieter songs, to more rousing ones, to get your guests up and dancing! They were also very nice people to deal with. Altogether a first class act and I highly recommend!"

"Swinging like a barn door in a Texas breeze, the album shows the tightness of a band that have spent many years on the road. An established favourite on the jazz and nostalgia circuit, this well respected and popular five piece have evolved a contemporary style from a mash up of genres from the early 20th century...Cool jazz guitar, bass driven swing, excellent dobro, evocative harmonica and smokey vocal tones, velvet dipped in bourbon. Material is varied and well chosen, a souvenir from stage from one of the best live jazz-lite bands on the circuit."

"A pleasure to deal with from start to finish and most importantly a superb group of musicians that made for a wonderful atmosphere during the reception element of our wedding day. I had been recommended Tzigauners by a friend and I would not hesitate to recommend them once again. " I booked The Verve jazz duo for my garden party to celebrate my birthday on the 15th of July 2017 after a recommendation from a friend. It was a huge success and we still talk about it to this day. The guys were really professional and friendly but, most importantly, played some wonderful and passionate jazz which made the day very special. Everybody loved it and the guys created the perfect ambiance for the event. The piano and double bass was a surprisingly full sound and the level of musicianship was absolutely top notch throughout.
