"Surrey Strings arrived promptly, set up with no fuss in 2 locations (church and wedding reception) and played beautifully. Many guests commented on the excellence of the performance and we were delighted by contribution made to the atmosphere of the day. The responsiveness to requests made in advance for particular pieces also helped set the perfect tone for the two distinct performances. Highly recommended."

"Isobelle was the most wonderful addition to my wedding ceremony and reception. Her playing on the day was exceptionally beautiful and so many of my guests commented on it. She had half the room in tears when she played Ave Maria as I walked down the aisle. She was also brilliantly professional throughout the booking process, responsive to emails, and very flexible with last minute changes I made to my ceremony music. I could not recommend her highly enough for any event."

"Harriet was fantastic right from when we booked her with follow up emails and a really simple booking system. We got to pick a few of our favourite songs for the day to be played. All of our guests loved listening to Harriet whilst enjoying our drinks reception it created the perfect atmosphere. "Claire and Jerry were invited to play at our Wedding in Devon in September and it was an absolute pleasure to have them on our special day. While we were happy to only have Claire on the Violin we are very glad that Jerry was also available and the composition of the 2 made all the difference to the vibe of the event. Our guests loved having them play and their automatic choice of songs were on points with the feeling of the room. They were more than happy to learn our (somewhat unconventional) requests of music which added to the personal touch that is important with a wedding. Their professional, skillful and friendly service was a talking point for the day and we only wish that we could have had them there for longer. Could not rate them highly enough. "Estevao played for us at our wedding ceremony at Titchwell Church followed by music at our drinks reception afterwards. He very kindly learnt a very special song for us to play when my wife walked down the Aisle. His playing was wonderful throughout both service and reception mixing emotion with some rock. "We highly recommend Matt. He played the cello and piano at our wedding during lockdown and was amazing so we asked him to come back to play at our wedding party this summer. He is incredibly professional, accommodating and has a huge repertoire of classical and popular music to draw from. He was so helpful in tailoring my wedding march entrance music to fit the time it took to walk down the aisle making it work perfectly. He plays both the cello and piano beautifully, a very talented musician. A really lovely friendly person to have at your wedding or party. We would definitely have him back to play for any event in the future."
