"We booked Shaun through this site for a joint family party. My husband in particular is a huge UB40 fan and as a result their music has played a big part in our families lives so we arranged Shaun to do a set at the party. He was phenomenal. So many people commented on how good he was and how much he sounded like Ally Campbell. We all had such a lovely evening and Shaun made it even more special getting all our family and friends on the dance floor reminiscing and singing along. Amazing memories for us all. I would definitely book Shaun again and highly recommend him to any UB40 or Reggae fans. Shaun's communication in the lead up to the event was also exemplary and he was a lovely lovely guy. "Loretta and the Groove Stars absolutely blew us and all of our guests away and made our party. It was clear from the quality of their flawless performance that they are serious musicians. Loretta perfectly understood our tastes and crafted a perfect set to take us through the night and get the party moving. They injected creativity and personality for a truly original and memorable 40th party for my wife. We couldn't have been more pleased. Loretta was even kind enough to help me organise the timings to include events like the birthday cake, making life so much easier. Even the venue commented that they were one of the best bands they've had perform. These guys are a cut above, would throughly recommend. "

"Vernon performed at our wedding on 03.08.13 and was absolutely superb. A great variety of songs sang in his own unique style. A genuine lovely guy with a soulful voice. I would highly recommend him for any functions you are thinking of having. I for one would use vernon again in the future."

"We booked Motown Memories to perform at our wedding reception and they were absolutely brilliant! We made our booking during the first lockdown so we weren't able to see them perform in person before booking but our decision was made easy by the live performance videos they have on the website! They absolutely nailed our first dance song 'Marry you - Bruno Mars' and were great at getting the crowd going - the dance floor was never empty! They have a brilliant repertoire that suits all age groups and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to book a band. Thanks Motown Memories!!"

Vernon performed at our civil partnership celebration and I have to say we had so many positive comments from our guests. Vernon's voice is wide ranging - as is his repertoire, something which first attracted us to him as a performer for our special event. Whatever your age or musical interests, there's a good chance you will know some of the music he performs, and it is all done with style and enthusiasm. The mood ranges from chilled out to funky and danceable. On top of this, Vernon is a really nice guy, a good communicator, and senses the moods and needs of his audience. "We booked Vernon for our wedding on the 24th April 2015 and he really was fantastic, we had pre arranged what music he was going to do off his playlist. We corresponded by email and had no problems with contacting him and he arrived on time for our evening reception, he set up and played straight through until about 10. We found his own music very good especially his song (see that girl) he made the evening fun and got us up dancing, our guests loved him and enjoyed his music, Vernon is a friendly talented musician and we would book him again or recommend him for a wedding or party.
