"We absolutely loved everything you did, from the arrival acoustic duo set (which was amazing!) all the way through to the First Dance and 4 Piece Live Band evening sets. Our guests (particularly our neighbours who were the guys throwing crazy shapes on the dance floor all night...!) all commented how great you were and we are thrilled that we had you at our wedding. Your version of 'Yellow' for our First Dance was absolutely beautiful, I only hope our videographer captured all of it so we can forever remember it. "Black Velvet Band Irish Trio came to play at our relaxed outdoor pre-wedding get together of about 40 people. The three who made up the band were great – very talented musicians – they played all our favourites as well as some wider material. They were very keen to fit in with what we wanted to hear and gauged the mood as to whether to sing ballads or play jigs (after a few drinks people were up for having a bit of a dance). It was such a joy to hear live music again after all these months of covid restrictions. The Band really made the evening and they were really lovely people."

"Rory played at our anniversary party. He is an extremely talented multi-instrumentalist. He impressed everyone with his playing and singing and he was the talk of the evening. "We first stumbled across Ed & Oliviya when they performed an acoustic set for the Bedford Gin Festival back in 2018. When we started planning our wedding in the Loire Valley, France my [now] wife and I both suggested we contact them to see if they'd be willing to travel and perform for us. Having contacted Ed directly, I cannot overstate how great he was to deal with. Ed was always prompt in his responses, from the quotation to additional requests we made along the way (and also on the day itself). Nothing was ever too much for them and they added significantly to our special day. We had a large number of guests specifically mention how much they enjoyed Ed & Oliviyas music - they performed before the ceremony and also got the party started after dinner. They make a fantastic duo, with Ed on guitar and Oliviya's stunning vocals. I would whole-heartedly recommend using these two if you have a special event which requires some music. Next time we have a party and need some music - we will definitely be giving you a call. Thanks again for everything, and making our day extra special. Love, Damian & Anastasia"

"Smash Hits of The 80s were the highlight of our weekend! We had a 50th birthday weekend in Penn Castle in Dorset and on the Saturday everyone had to turn up in fancy dress, and then the band came on and they were amazing. Having male and female vocals really made a difference, we knew all the songs and the dance floor was packed for both their sets. If you’re after an 80s band, they guys are excellent. Thanks again."
