"Always loved the Blues Brothers, so hired 106 Miles to Chicago for my 40th. They were amazing, great vocals, dance routines and audience involvement, they got everyone going and up on the dance floor. My Dad even shook his tailfeather :) Andy and Chris DJ'd the party too, so worked out cheaper than if I'd hired a DJ as well, which I was planning on doing. Andy was great to deal with, easygoing and very professional (obviously knows his stuff). Very happy customer. Very happy to recommend 106 Miles to Chicago. "

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio provided a brilliant ceilidh for our wedding celebrations at Goldney Hall, Bristol on 12 August 2017. What a fantastic evening! The band entertained our hardy Scottish guests with well-known Scottish dances but it was most enjoyable to see English friends and family ceilidh dancing for the first time and loving it! The dances were called very clearly and were quite ambitious so there was much hilarity. It was infectious fun and everyone got involved. (The dance floor was almost too small!) Mike and the band were extremely accommodating, professional and enthusiastic. The band has a huge repertoire and organised the evening flawlessly, from our first dance (Gay Gordons) to the throwing of the bouquet and the final Circassian Circle. Highly recommended. Thanks again for a fantastic evening of fun!"

"Barn With Us played at our school charity dinner last weekend and I am going to let the pupils do the talking: Vibrant; great company; made it a lot of fun; great singing and music; the callers explained everything really well and made sure everyone understood what they should do (the dance was demonstrated to me at this time!); lively; really good atmosphere; they were funny; great energy - you get the picture! "Kelly and Graham were on the last 2 cruises I did with Ambassador cruise line. To say they where the best entertainment on board would be a masterpiece of understatement. All the sets were performed to an amazing level and were very approachable if you wanted a certain song. Kelly's voice is incredibly powerful and can do any genre to a very high standard, and as for Graham, his guitar skills are quite simply the best I have come across. "

"Remko and Lilac plus support organised a great evening of line dancing for 80 teenagers. After some initial reluctance they were soon tapping away and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. After a pizza break they then chilled to the sounds of the band. Thank you very much indeed and we will certainly be inviting the Band back."

"Wedding at Kachette, Shoreditch, London (February 2025) Kirsty was fantastic throughout the whole process. She arranged a call at the start to discuss what we wanted for our DJ set at at the wedding. This was really helpful for getting us thinking about how we wanted to organise the set. She also sent a form with more information and it was clear that she took the process very seriously. She was always quick and friendly with communications, too. On the day, her set was great and incorporated all the tracks and genres we had discussed. Everyone had a blast on the dance floor! I felt very happy trusting Kirsty and it was an area of the wedding I was not stressed about at all. I’d highly recommend her for any wedding, birthday, private event etc.!"
