"The Weekend Groove played at our wedding in Cambridge and were truly excellent. They learnt our first song for us and were very flexible on our choices for the remainder of the set. This flexibility extended to the evening where we had to delay the start and they were absolutely fine with it. Once they started, everyone was jumping around on the dance floor all night and we have had many of our friends and family comment on how good the band was. I would highly recommend them."

"Just wanted to pass on my thanks to you and Chateaux Swing for their performance yesterday. It was just exactly the best of what I was hoping for when I booked you, they were absolutely brilliant, perfect for the event, and my dad (who’s not been well) loved it. I couldn’t work out how you were going to do a bossa nova with the instruments you had, but I hadn’t factored in the multi talents of your bassist! And I shall never again listen to J’attendrai without thinking of English cats…. I can’t give you anything but love was a particular highlight for me (though actually also come to think of it, Putting on the Ritz and Honeysuckle Rose), but people loved Football’s coming home too; and Sweet Sue went down really well with my mum. It just couldn’t have been better in any way, we were so delighted and they really made the whole day, thank you so much,"

"Wow, these guys are truly a class act. The band where incredibly tight and brilliant musicians and performers. Micki's voice is out of this world - she really is incredible. When she sang "Somebody Else's Guy" the room suddenly went quiet and you could hear a pin a drop. Melody Avenue where the highlight of my party and people still talk about how amazing they were. "I hired The Haystacks to play at my 40th birthday after seeing them perform at a friend's wedding. I would highly recommend them as they play a wide range of popular music from different decades, with the possibility of learning a favourite song to make your occasion extra special. Many popular pop songs work in there soft rock/country style as well as the more obvious classics. For example Lady Gaga Bad Romance I preferred to the pop original. So they are a good choice for a party of all ages covering many music genres."

"Thanks very much for your fantastic set at Marlin's Wynd - we were so glad we picked It's No Reel. The band managed to liven up traditional ceilidh songs, and the caller was excellent at keeping everybody on the dance floor and in high spirits. Our guests definitely all agreed too- we had a lot of positive comments about the band after the event. Tom was also very easy to deal with, responding very quickly to emails."
