"What a great night, was an amazing finish to a surprise party. Was a last minute decision and Big Skies were happy to reassure and be flexible. Somehow we managed to sneak the setup in and surprise the wife, it certainly made the party. The music was great, and they just dealt with it all for me, wouldn't hesitate to rebook. They even stayed for a burger, beer and a go on the rodeo :) Thank you and good luck "

"We hired Kirsty for a Nineties party at the Defence Academy. A consultation was conducted ahead of the event to confirm access, power, location etc, ensuring that everything was set up in time, in the right location, without having to bother the organisers on the night. The set list was excellent and had been put together following the consultation. Kirsty managed the energy of the room perfectly and the set-up was highly professional. Would definitely hire again."

"This awesome pair played at our wedding. A gorgeous atmosphere during / around the ceremony, through the wedding breakfast and on the dance floor. Kelly has a gorgeous voice which grabbed us immediately when choosing who we’d like to perform at our wedding (she did not disappoint!) He is not simply good with his instrument and have a great voice...Tim also know how to entertain the crowd creating a dynamic environment where people can really enjoy their time. Moreover, Tim proved him self to be very organise and professional, always being in time every time we call him. Also, he helped us to accord our equipment allowing us to deliver the best sound to our guests. "

"These guys were just great and made a special birthday really special. Just loved Mike’s amazing fiddle playing. They accommodated all our requests for Irish and Scottish music and were flexible around times which was great as lunch was later than anticipated. Would highly recommend."

"We first saw Kelly and Graham on a cruise to the Caribbean early 2023 and their nightly shows were always worth a trip to the top deck. Graham's guitar solo night was the highlight of the 43 days we spent together. Kelly's voice lends itself to any song and her bubbly personality and time for a chat make these two always watching and listening to. "

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio were a fantastic edition to our Burns Night celebrations. From communicating before the event to the actual day, the group were professional and easy to reach. They also went above and beyond what their initial brief by ed by agreeing to toast the haggis – which was met with cheers - and taking suggestions from the crowd for different dances. By the end of the night they felt like part of the ROSL family."

"I booked the It's No' Reel Ceilidh Band to play at a Burns event I was hosting in Scotland for an international group of friends, mostly based in Germany. The band quickly gauged the experience of the group and provided a selection of music that ensured everyone enjoy themselves dancing. The dance floor was always packed despite it being most of the guests' first ceilidh. On the practical side they also turned up on time, set up and packed up quickly and without fuss, and coped with our frequent schedule changes on the night with a smile. I would strongly recommend them"
