"Wow, wow we are so impressed and grateful to you. What a wonderful steel band . Absolutely amazing! The weather was dreadful just 9 degrees and we had just returned from 34 degrees in Aruba, it rained and should have been miserable. However, the expertise of the beautifully costumed band soon had the place rocking, breaking the ice, such fun. I am a disabled lady and was unable to talk to them properly. I hope they got the meal i had paid for for them and drinks unfortunately i couldnt walk far enough to look after them. Please convey our utmost thanks for an absolutely brilliant performance and because of them our Caribbean themed wedding party was an amazing success. Thank you all so much for making such fantastic memories for us and entertaining our guests who had travelled from Scotland,London,Liverpool,America and the Emirates States we are so very grateful. "Big sand was part of an award we won and we had to go down to meet them for a steel band lesson, took a group of 12 people. Each and every one had fun, very professional, warm hearted, talented individuals and highly recommended for any future steel band bookings I will need. Great time. Thank you all"

"Junior, Steven & Justin - what a fantastic band. Arranged for a surprise 30th anniversary party for my parents and they loved every minute. All the guests were really impressed by you and the little kids (and big kids) loved having a go on the instruments after. A great price and you gave a great atmosphere. "This is a wonderful band they played at my Sharon's 40th birthday party on the beach at Mersea Island ALL the tunes were great but when they played 'on broad way' it was fantastic, they are nice friendly people book them and have a great time "

"Well, we had never booked anything quite like a Caribbean steel band previously, but we fancied a change to our normal style of drab Christmas entertainment. The guys calypsofied Christmas carols, and played a good mixture of songs that we all knew. All in all we are definitely happy that we booked Francis and his troops, and I would certainly recommend them for any occasion."

"Alex was punctual and incredibly pleasant upon arrival. He set up quickly and responded perfectly well with directions of set times, where to set up etc. As soon as he started, everyone took to the floor! Even after a long days sailing, all our guests were up the entire time, we wish he could have played all evening into the next morning! So we'll just have to book him again!..."

"Alex Clifton made my daughter's wedding extra special. Alex assisted me in organising a surprise for my daughter and son-in-law. Set the scene - it was a cold winters day and I wanted to bring some warmth and sunshine to everyone attending the wedding. I made contact with Alex and put an idea to him which incorporated him into the father of the brides speech. I asked Alex if he would hide behind a screen and on hearing a key word play a song on his still pan to bring some sunshine into the room which to my surprise he agreed. He brought warmth, laughter and fun into the room and his pan skills exceeded above my expectations. Once the speeches were completed Alex played an hours pan set and received nothing but praise from the guests at the wedding. I believe Alex is an accomplished steel pan musician, his range of genre was outstanding and I cannot thank him enough for making our daughters day memorable. I would not hesitate, if the need arose to request his service again and would highly recommend Alex Clifton. Thank you Alex "
