"We booked the Shakesters to play at a joint 30th and 60th birthday party with a 1950′s and 1980′s theme, a wide age range to entertain! They were absolutely fantastic, got everyone dancing with some great interaction with the guests and making sure the birthday boy and birthday girl got shouts outs and were the centre of attention! They were really organised, making sure they knew what we were expecting from them in the planning stages, to setting up promptly and playing an epic set! Highlight of the night, a great group of guys and we could not recommend them enough for any function!"

"Well what can we say...We could not have asked for better! Jeremy and the band were brilliant people and fantastic musicians. They were extremely organised and personable both in advance of and on the day, and most importantly brought the party to our wedding! Everyone was asking where we found Straight Up. Thank you, thank you, thank you! "

"Vic was the music man for my mum’s 2 parties at the local Village Hall. An afternoon tea party for her village friends and an evening buffet for family and close friends. Vic got the mood just right throughout. Taking a background role with recorded music when needed; leading sing a longs on request; and, later, playing dance music for us to let our hair down to. He brought all his own equipment; was flexible with timings; had a wide repertoire; and perhaps, most importantly, seemed pleased to be sharing such an important date in our diary and to be helping make mum’s special day even more special. "What a night! We were playing guess the song. Ewan your musical director was lovely and they all seemed to enjoy the evening. I would hire them again in a flash! The entire process was hassle free. The guests were impressed by the duet. "

"I booked Eleventh Hour for my wedding and we had such a fun night with them. They sang our first dance song perfectly and the rest of the music that followed was great. A real mix of songs, old and new, and they appealed to everyone there - from the kids to the Grandparents. I really enjoyed getting up with my bridesmaids to sing a song with them and my husband and his best man loved the 'air guitars'- a great idea! They arrived on time and didn't cause us any hassle, just got on and did the job exceptionally well and made our evening really special. Thanks guys!"

"We’d seen The Loops at Kop Hill Climb classic car festival and were blown away. They had such a warmth and energy in the way they entertained what was a pretty large crowd, that we knew they would be ideal for our wedding. Great singing, great tunes, great overall vibe. Total professionals all round. Highly recommended "

"What an amazing wedding band! We were quite nervous about choosing a band for our wedding especially given we couldn't see them live due to Covid. But we definitely 100% made the right decision and they were exactly what we were looking for and so much more! The band were really easy to communicate with and really listened to what we wanted. They took the time to get to know us, a bit about our day and our music preferences before building their set list. On the day they were so professional and the music was incredible. To have our first dance performed live was just amazing and we really couldn't have asked for more! All of our guests have given such amazing comments about them and they kept the dance floor going all night - nobody wanted the night to end! Thank you SO much House of Chords - you guys are brilliant and we would highly highly recommend! Katie and Dan x"

"My wife and I booked The Mustangs to play our wedding held a few weekends back and we were absolutely blown away by them! Their sound and deliverance were fantastic, everyone was up and dancing straight away. They looked the part and could really knock through their set-list. We've had so many compliments from our family and guests about the band and they really were one of the biggest highlights of the day. "

"Gary came and played for us at very short notice after we had been badly let down. We were very lucky to find him because he was most professional from the outset and highly reliable. He did everything he said he would including playing all the songs we had requested from his repertoire. Guests of all ages enjoyed dancing, especially when he played on after the agreed end of his sets! Sweet Caroline was a particular favourite and everyone joined in with “My Way”. Actually, Gary did it “Our Way” and we shall be keeping his details handy for future events."
