About / Biography

Please let me introduce you to The Shakesters - a female-fronted 5-piece 50’s / 60’s band with an authentic rock ‘n’ roll sound. A sound that epitomises a bygone era of cool, sharp suits and skinny ties.

This band has been playing together for nearly 10 years and combine 4 great vocal talents with an epic-sounding backing of lead and rhythm guitars, bass and drums. The Shakesters playlist includes original 1950’s raucous rock ‘n’ roll through to rousing 1960’s beat group classics.

Band members use the highest quality professional backline equipment and PA/lighting rig. The band can also play pre-recorded music through their PA system during breaks between sets and after the performance. The Shakesters are guaranteed to have you dancing all night.
