"Now that all the excitement has died down I would just like to give you a huge 'thank you' for making it so easy for me to arrange suitable live music for my daughter's wedding. Please thank Rachel and the other two members of the trio for their fantastic playing. "Aphrodite Strings played at our wedding in August 2013. They performed in the church whilst guests arrived, as I walked down the aisle, during the signing of the registers and as the wedding party left the church. They also played at our wedding reception afterwards. I can honestly say that having them perform on our 'big day' was a brilliant decision, they are very talented musicians and helped us create the 'tasteful' occasion we had hoped for. From the moment we met Antonia she was extremely helpful, accommodating and nothing was too much trouble for her, even though we requested some pieces outside their usual repertoire! We would thoroughly recommend Aphrodite Strings to anyone thinking of having live music at their wedding or other occasion and I can't thank them enough for making our day so special - they really are superb performers and lovely people too. "We booked a trio (piano, violin and cello) to play upbeat classical and some modern music at my mother's 80th birthday dinner/party in the local pub. Silja and the 2 other musicians were utterly professional from start to finish - both when organising the event and on the actual day. The violin and cello played outside as it was nice weather while guests enjoyed drinks and canapes, and then the piano was added to the mix when we moved indoors for the dinner. Nothing was too much trouble. Silja and co were very accommodating, fitting in with speeches and songs - and even composed and played a family birthday tune that we asked them to play! I would definitely recommend Rigaudon Music for this type of event and would have no hesitation in booking them again! Thank you for helping to make our event so special."
