"I booked the lads from Below the Border for my wife's 60th birthday party and they were exactly as described. Brilliant musicians one and all and they kept everyone dancing until well after midnight with popular rock hits from the 70s and that swingy blues that you just HAVE to get up and dance to (no matter how old you are!) Lovely chaps too. Polite, eductated, down to earth, and they have that dry sense of humour musicians often have. I thoroughly recommend them. And we were AMAZED at how cheap they were for such a brilliant band. I don’t think they’re playing for the money! Just incredible guitar playing. Boys, long may you keep on truckin' as we used to say. Thanks thanks and thanks again. John and Doreen "

She was professional, talented and punctual and we received many compliments on our choice of live music from our guests during the course of the evening. "Garage Nation played at our wedding on August 25th and they were fantastic; great musicians and lovely people. There was a nice range of music so everyone had something to dance to and nobody wanted the night to end! We choose Garage Nation for their garage repertoire and oh my did they deliver! Everyone was on their feet from the first dance right through to the end of the night - we loved it and had an amazing time. The band got lots of compliments too, everyone was impressed - you guys rock! "

"Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one."

"I'm really sorry I didn't get to say thank you last night for your incredible music! You guys were literally awesome and I can't tell you how many people just kept saying to me 'the band is INCREDIBLE!'. "Somerset Soul played at our wedding reception yesterday and I can not recommend them enough. Prompt, professional, good fun, all-around great people! Rebecca’s voice is unreal. They were energetic and engaging, they had the whole room dancing from start to finish and they learnt and played our first dance song so beautifully. Book them immediately! "
