"Our Summer Drinks is an important occasion in our calendar bringing together friends and stakeholders to celebrate our work over the year as a small arts charity in Holloway. Moon River proved to be a fantastic addition to the event bringing elegance and perfectly pitched music to compliment the evening. The trio responded to the brief with style and provided a diverse repertoire in keeping with the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. "I just wanted to send a BIG thank you to you and the band for all of your amazing efforts on Friday!!! The guests were honestly so blown away with the party and we’ve already had so many ‘thank you’ s’ today, all expressing how amazed they were with it all and how much they loved you guys. Here is just a few of the comments we have received so far… The band were just the icing on top of the cake! They were amazing! I loved how they weren’t on a stage, and really involved the audience. Please can you send me the name of them so I have hit in my mind to recommend. The band were brilliant and I loved how they played such a wide range of music to suit everyone. It has to be the best event I have been to with regards to the theme running through the whole evening and the attention to detail was fantastic. We enjoyed it all, from the venue, the superb food, brilliant band and of course great hosts! I have honestly hand on heart not seen such a fantastic band and the floor was packed all night which was amazing! From their professionalism, personalities, performance and fabulous set it was faultless. "Picking a band for your wedding is always nerve wracking, but without a doubt we couldn’t have picked a better group if we’d tried!! The music was spot on, the guys all looked the part (which went down perfectly with our tipi theme) and the dance floor was full! What more could you ask for?! We had the full band and, having not actually heard the demo beforehand, they exceeded our expectations. They also learnt one of the songs from the bride’s Dad’s glam rock days to surprise him which went down a storm! Communication leading up to the day was great and George even took the time out to come and find us on the day to chat in between sets! Don’t think twice! Book these guys, they are a fantastic group and we would have them again in a heartbeat!"
