"I booked Darren Shaw through Last Minute Musicians during the summer to entertain our group at the Christmas Party which we held on Thursday, 1st December 2022. You can imagine picking someone from the internet to entertain a group of over 150 people at their special annual bash I did it wondering if I had done the right thing. The evening came and Darren was at the venue in excellent time to get set up and for Richard to test the sound equipment. We had our meal in the lovely venue of the Grand Pavilion at The Moorlands, Ogden, Halifax, which is our local place for posh parties. Then on came Darren and from the very first number I could relax and enjoy the evening as he was wonderful. He very quickly picked up what our audience liked and he ran with it all evening. He did us a 45 minute spot and then we drew our raffle which was quite a long affair as we had many prizes and in total we made £432 which went to our chosen charity for the year - Prostate Cancer. Then on Darren came again and had everyone on the floor dancing and for those who weren't able to dance we could sing along and sing our arms in the air to Sweet Caroline and such numbers. What I great evening he gave us. I spent the following day receiving emails and phone calls from people who had been at the party telling me what a wonderful evening they had had and saying how wonderful Darren had been. I would not hesitate to recommend him as your entertainer, you won't be disappointed. "

"Sarah-Jane made arranging a fabulous harpist (Katie) for our wedding very easy indeed. She was very helpful and understanding and made the whole process a stress-free experience. Katie played beautifully at our wedding and made the whole occasion that little bit more magical. Many of our guests commented on how wonderful the music was and how it created a lovely atmosphere at both our wedding ceremony and drinks reception."

"We booked The RockPins for our company party of 500 people. We were looking for a band who could play the right kind of songs to get people dancing and play those songs well. The band didn’t let us down, they were brilliant! The biggest compliment I can give is the dance floor was still packed when they finally finished their last song. "I honestly don’t know where to start. We had a few phone calls and message exchanges with Andrew in the lead up to our wedding which were fantastic. From the first call, everything was made so easy and suggestions were made to us that made sense. On the actual day, it was a pleasure to meet Andrew. All of the timings were kept to perfection, the music choices were phenomenal, but most importantly, Andrew is an absolutely amazing person. He is so kind and friendly, and always had a smile on his face. He spent time talking to a few guests, whom by the way were complimenting him all night. I would recommend Andrew to anyone. Such a unique personality. I’m sure I may have missed out a few compliments but hopefully I have fitted the most important bits in!
