"The Mustangs were absolutely amazing when they played our wedding in August! The dance floor was packed all night long and when it got to 12.30 and their set had finished and we realised we hadn’t put a playlist together for the last half hour they very generously let us keep their equipment going and use their playlist till the end of the night! So many people have commented on how incredible the band were since! Fully recommend these guys! We loved every second! "

"Hi guys, Just had to say thank you once again for your show on Saturday night you were so good and you made the party so much better than anything we had hoped for. All the guests loved you and they haven’t stopped telling us how good you were!! Have supplied a well earned review for you; Having booked 106 Miles to Chicago for my wife's 50th birthday party we were looking forward to them getting our party going! They were so professional from their arrival and set up and when they started the party really got going. They were absolutely fantastic and they gave 100% and everyone loved them!! We would recommend them to everyone. Thank you so much for making our party one of the best ever! Alan & Pauly, Once again many many thanks!"

"We were delighted to have a special secret act turn up for our daughters wedding at The Woolacombe Bay Hotel. Our future son-in-law mentioned about two days before the wedding that he would love a “Blues Brothers” tribute band for the wedding music, but knew he’d left it too late to book. We decided to try our hardest to accommodate this request. After contacting Chris from "Those Singing Waiters and 106 Miles to Chicago", we were delighted to find they could travel down to us for the day, and surprise the happy couple. They came into the afray, just as the desserts were being served, and everyone thought it was a couple of the hotel staff trying to entertain the wedding party off the cuff. But it soon became apparent that these two were very professional, and were extremely funny. The event got livelier later when in the second set, they took to the stage as the “Blues Brothers”, and our daughters were invited to do a turn, with “Shout” and “Rescue Me”. We have had a long association within the singing entertainment circuit, with two of our daughters doing solo performing, one of our son-in-laws playing guitar in a band and one of our relatives and a guest at the function is Benny Gallagher of “Gallagher and Lyle” fame. He agreed the afternoon and evening was a total success. We wouldn’t hesitate to re-book this act in the future, when we’ve got over the shock of this years wedding!! "

"Whether you are a Blues Brothers fan or not, these guys will give you a brilliant night's entertainment. Slick, polished and professional. They had all my guests up dancing and singing along, and had to do 3 encores! All that, and then they DJ'd the rest of the night too - can't fault them - excellent."

"Bessie’s life in blues brought back to life. Some performers deserve to be known by more than their work. Bessie Smith won fame as Empress of the Blues in the 1020’s, but there was more to her life than money and fame. She died in 1937, but 80 years on a good sized crowd were held rapt at the Thunderbolt as Dave Merrick narrated her life story, from a ragged upbringing in the American South, with the help of original recordings. Bessie shot to fame because her unique vocal style could cut through the limitations of 1920s recording technology. But it was the live performances the Totterdown audience were waiting for, and Natalie Davis on vocals, with Dave on guitar and Brenan Whitmore on saxophone did not disappoint. Renditions of I Need A Little Sugar in my Bowl, and ‘Taint Nobodies Business If I Do made the magic of Bessie shine, from the slow paced blues of the 1920s to the syncopated swing of the 1930. . the show had the audience rapt. - Paul Breeden, South Bristol Voice (May 01, 2017)"

"The true gauge of their colossal talent is measured by me by the fact that having known my husband Luke for 20 plus years, last Saturday was the first time he wanted to dance with me ever - and he was driving, so it can only have been the music."
