Ideal for outdoor weddings and marquees, steel bands require very little space and are perfect for couples choosing to have a ‘green’ wedding as they require no power and are 100% acoustic. Steel bands are also a popular choice as background music whilst your guests are eating, either before the wedding reception or during the wedding breakfast.

When booking Steel Bands:

When booking any live musicians, they will inform you of their technical requirements, which you are required to provide. Thankfully, steel musicians have very little technical requirements and most will only ask you to provide suitable parking for loading in and loading out equipment. All live musicians on the Last Minute Musicians roster are required to have valid public liability insurance in order to protect both the musician and the audience in the event of anaccident.

About Steel Bands:

Steel bands have a varied repertoire of hits from the past 50 years in popular music and, as with most live musicians, you can ask your steel band to learn certain songs if they are not already in their repertoire.
