"I saw James at a pub in Sussex while visiting the UK a few years ago and it was a truly unique, fantastic performance of original and cover songs. Very memorable. I bought a CD which I love to play in my vehicle when I'm on a drive. A couple years earlier I travelled Ireland going from pub to pub looking for original music based artists which I thought was a thing in Ireland, and all I got was traditional touristy performances. Then out of the blue totally unexpected, James finally delivers what I love about live music in a pub/small theatre setting! Went back to England last Christmas, hunted down James, but unfortunately he wasn't playing anywhere... Ugh! Oh well... Next time!"

"The Hot Hats played at an event my employers were holding to celebrate 50 years in business and I don't think they could have chosen anyone better. They were asked to play songs from the 60s and they played a fantastic selection of songs from that era. A perfect mixture for the event, and everyone there loved it. I think it's testament of their powers to entertain that there were people who had experienced the songs first time round singing along, getting involved while children danced around to songs they may never have heard before! The boys are friendly, engaging and brilliant performers. Thank you for an amazing time, Hot Hats "

"I first saw MCATM at a gig in Salisbury. Not only did they sound fantastic with a brilliant set, but they got the whole pub on the dance floor...on a Thursday night, including me who was the sober designated driver. I was so impressed with what I had seen and heard, I decided that night to book them for our wedding. We met with Lewis and Clare a few times to discuss the music/sets before the wedding; they were professional, friendly, down to earth and knew exactly what I wanted for the day, and learnt a lot of songs for us. Come the wedding day; they arrived early to set up so not to disrupt the day, entertained from 2pm to early hours the next morning ...including playing outside, but also were super fun with my guests! They learnt our first dance "Perfect - Ed Sheeran" and made our dream come true as it literally was perfect. Fun was had by all and honestly I am so happy we chose them as they made our wedding incredible. THANK YOU MCATM"

Rosy has the superb ability to capture a room and its occupants with her beautiful voice and well planned out sets. "We and everyone else said how great the band were and what a lovely bunch of lads. They played exactly the right type of songs considering the differing age ranges at the party. We just let them get on with it. So organised, and such professionals. We have another two 18th parties in the next few years. Hopefully they’ll still be available to book."

"I struggle to drink alcohol if the band are rubbish even if it is my daughter's wedding day. If I tell you that before they stopped playing I was drunk enough to get off my arse and dance you may gather that they were okay, when I say that in the past thirty years I can count on one hand the number of times I have felt the urge to dance you may gather that I thought they were awesome! I have never before seen a dancefloor that was full from the beginning to the end of the night, a great band with a great set list which I highly recommend for any occasion."

"I saw these guys at a Rugby Club in Hungerford and were blown away by how good they were, both technically and at creating an atmosphere that had everyone on their feet the whole night! Brilliant recreation of the 60s, 70s, and more recent hits that even I had heard of. Can genuinely say they've something for everyone and recommend them whenever the opportunity arises. Met them afterwards to thank them for a great night and was pleasantly surprised at how friendly they were; too many bands are happy to check out with a barely a passing nod once the night's over, but these guys are something special. Best of luck to them and I hope you, on this website reading this, book them soon as you won't be disappointed. "
