As a duo you complement each other very well, and together you delivered an all round great experience for us and our guests. Everyone commented on how good you were and would recommend you without hesitation. "Once again I am almost at a loss to describe what a brilliant musician and performer Gareth is. His concert for us in Surbiton last night was highly entertaining, varied and interesting, and performed with consummate skill. From serious works on the organ via piano duets (accompanying himself on the keyboard!) to a range of wonderful jazz pieces, Gareth showed his versatility and virtuosity throughout. Not only that, but he provided witty and informative introductions which the audience also very much enjoyed. I may have said so before, but don't hesitate to book Gareth - you won't be disappointed!"

" Last month I was incredibly lucky enough to see Gareth Giles in concert. I am so very glad I saw this wonderful man perform because I now feel for ever changed by my experience of Gareth. From beginning to end I was spellbound – never before have I experienced such energy, style, change of emotions, playful fun, gravitas – all in one afternoon I simply never wanted the performance to end. I was either moved to tears by Nimrod, excited by the powerful Sabre dance, sent to heaven with 'summer time' and stayed for a while with 'The Summer Knows '. "Des is just brilliant. His style of smooth Jazz playing is wonderful and can either be at the forefront of an event or as simple live background music. He is extremely flexible and I have seen hi fit comfortably into such varied situations as Christmas day at church, background music at a networking event and as part of a band at a local festival. "We booked Rob and Mark for our wedding reception evening 'do' and are so happy with the decision we made! Rob guided us through their repertoire, was prompt in his replies and gave us suggestions as to what order songs were done in. The evening flowed perfectly and we've had so many positive comments from guests. Lovely touches, such as some word tweaking to make it so very personal. "Gareth helped us achieve a dream. We had discovered a Victorian ancestor had had quite a bit of music published, which we had been able to copy, but not being musicians, we didn't know what to do next. I wanted to have the music recorded as an Xmas present for my husband and found Gareth's details on line. I went to him in early December so it didn't leave much time, but he still managed to learn and record one of the pieces for Colin for Christmas Day, and since then he has recorded all of the music on two CDs for us. From the start he was so helpful and accommodating - meeting with me to look at the music, giving a clear time-scale and cost, and then presenting us with two very professional CDs. His playing is just beautiful, and he explained that as some pieces were songs, he'd had to record the main melody and then dub in the soloist's part on top (that's a non-musical explanation of what I understood Gareth to say!) He went to such lengths to make everything perfect, keeping us regularly informed of how things were going, and his costs were very reasonable for the amount of work involved. If we find any more music, we'll certainly ask him again."
