"We hired Lucinda to sing at our wedding in June 2023. She sang during the ceremony and our drinks reception which were both outside. She was incredible from start to finish. Her voice carried beautifully and so many of our guests commented on what an amazing singer she was. She was very professional and sang the songs we’d requested. I would highly recommend her to anyone! Thank you Lucinda for being part of our special day. "

"I hired the L.A Jazz band for my dads funeral. My dad knew his prognosis as was adamant it was to be a celebration of life for him. With the help of the band - we made this happen. I had positive feedback from friends and family. The band are extremely talented and professional. They ensured the service was upbeat with the music which helped to lift our spirits. I know my dad would have loved them and I’m sure he looked down on us with a smile that day. Thank-you L.A Jazz band. Can’t recommend you enough. "

"Brilliant. Very warm and friendly. Superb musicians with lots of humour. Thinking of booking for a birthday bash...so good. Great sound. If you are looking for Django Reinhardt/Stephane Grappelli sound, I reckon they are hard to beat. "

"I was sceptical at first that they could come up with the goods with only 3 players, but WOW did they deliver!!! the controlled tight and virtuosic ensemble playing was without peer."

"Rachel, Thank you so much for everything there is nothing I can fault! I booked Rachel for our wedding on 23/12/12 as she was recommended by my friend (Rebecca Hughes). She helped from day one with song/hymn choices, always kept in touch and so professional. On the wedding day when she stared to sing it was absolutely amazing. Everyone commented how brilliant she was! Thanks Rachel I will certainly be recommending you! Xx. "

"Thanks again for playing at our wedding! Was such an amazing night. All of the guests were so happy with the music and said you guys were awesome! It was such great music to dance to! Also thanks for the way you handled the drunk man wanting to sing Frank Sinatra situation haha! You handled it very well and professionally. And thanks for letting my Dad join in and sing with you guys. We had a blast and wish we could do it all again! :) "

"Small Days guitarist Dave Merrick was the master of ceremonies, with vocalist Natalie Davies and sax player Brendan Whitmore joining him for the live songs. Dave unfolded the story at a well-judged pace, with records of Bessie Smith’s evocative voice even drawing applause from the attentive audience whenever they were included. The live contribution was important, too, and Natalie wisely steered away from imitating Bessie’s full-throated contralto to emphasis the singer’s lyrics with an upbeat swing on numbers like Need A Little Sugar and Send Me To The Electric Chair. Brendan Whitmore switched between soprano and tenor sax, the former particularly eloquent on Need A Little Sugar, the latter coming to the fore on T’Aint Nobody’s Business If I Do. All in all it was a satisfying journey through blues history with one of the great women who made the music what it became. Impressively, this was its first performance – and hopefully it will be seen again. - Tony Benjamin, Bristol 24/7 (Apr 08, 2017)"

"[Gaylene] Parish's voice was warm and expressive throughout, and Williams proved to be the ideal accompanist with his light, melodic touch and studied rhythmic flow. John Barham played strong, firm bass lines, and the three sounds - piano, voice and bass - blended together successfully."
Derek Ansell, Newbury Weekly News (Irving Berlin Tribute concert by Add Hock)
