"Oh my god , they are amazing. No one left the dance floor and we wanted more. No one wanted the party to end which exactly what we wanted for our special day. Jeremy the singer was insane and so legendary. I can’t recommend Straight Up enough. "

"Adam was with a team session musicians recording an album at the legendary Rockfield Studios in Monmouthshire. Queen recorded 'Bohemian Rhapsody' here! I have worked with Adam since 2014. He is a friendly, professional musician with great musical skills and a pleasure to work with. He played guitar and bass on the album and was part of the songwriting team. He is a member of the band 'Wolfgang Vaubran', reformed from 'Ephemerals' (of which Adam was also a member during 4 albums.) They are signed to my label 'Jalapeno Records' in Brighton. "The Jazz Notes recently played for my nans funeral wake. They are true professionals and handled an emotional day with respect, whilst managing to lift everybody’s spirits. It was perfect. They’re a class act. Thanks again. "

"Bessie’s life in blues brought back to life. Some performers deserve to be known by more than their work. Bessie Smith won fame as Empress of the Blues in the 1020’s, but there was more to her life than money and fame. She died in 1937, but 80 years on a good sized crowd were held rapt at the Thunderbolt as Dave Merrick narrated her life story, from a ragged upbringing in the American South, with the help of original recordings. Bessie shot to fame because her unique vocal style could cut through the limitations of 1920s recording technology. But it was the live performances the Totterdown audience were waiting for, and Natalie Davis on vocals, with Dave on guitar and Brenan Whitmore on saxophone did not disappoint. Renditions of I Need A Little Sugar in my Bowl, and ‘Taint Nobodies Business If I Do made the magic of Bessie shine, from the slow paced blues of the 1920s to the syncopated swing of the 1930. . the show had the audience rapt. - Paul Breeden, South Bristol Voice (May 01, 2017)"

"Well what can we say...We could not have asked for better! Jeremy and the band were brilliant people and fantastic musicians. They were extremely organised and personable both in advance of and on the day, and most importantly brought the party to our wedding! Everyone was asking where we found Straight Up. Thank you, thank you, thank you! "

"Josh and I both just wanted to thank you and the other band members for really making our day so special. Your music was absolutely perfect - right from the music in the ceremony to the full band in the evening. Everyone commented on how amazing your voice is and so I just wanted to let you know how much we and everyone else enjoyed your music. My 4 year old niece Emma was your biggest fan - the next morning when she woke up, she was apparently asking for you and your music! "

"They were a huge highlight to our wedding day last weekend. Everyone all night asked us how we found Straight Up and nothing was too much trouble for them! They learnt our first dance song beautifully and were just so lovely to work with. Would 100% book these guys again, thankyou!!! "

"Brilliant! These guys really know how to entertain! Andy is polite, professional and easy to deal with, and then the show - wow! Full on, high energy, in your face Blues Brothers - everyone was up and dancing, and even on the stage singing with the boys - excellent! Can't recommend highly enough - will be booking Andy and Chris again without a doubt."

"George's music has a unique, intricate and infectious sound which is a joy to listen to. George perfectly captured the atmosphere of Central Park tram stop in his commission as part the Tram Tracks song writing project. We can't wait for his solo performance as part of the new Rush Hour Social series at The Bridgewater Hall."
