"These guys played at my cousins wedding in Leeds a couple of months ago. They were amazing....we were in a group of 30 ish + and we just danced our asses off!! At times they sounded better than the actual artist they were covering! Such energy, really engaged with the crowd and got the party off to a flying start! "

With Mike's dance-calling all dancers were able to perform even the more complex ones with no major disasters on the floor! "Cover Tree played at our wedding on 5 June 2009. They were truly excellent and managed to please an array of guests that ranged from 7 to 82- all of whom took to the dance floor! The guys offered advice about set lists, and then shaped their numbers to include all the songs that we had requested. They also learnt special numbers that had not been requested previously, and this was a real bonus as it made the music even more personal. The band let us use their PA and wireless microphones for the speeches, and even provided the best man with a projector for his speech. They also arranged the musical interludes between their performances and ran the disco late in to the night. All of this made the day so much easier and more cost effective than having to use separate performers. The guys in the band looked the part, sounded excellent, and were true gentlemen before, during and after the wedding. We considered the music to be one of the most important parts of our day and thanks to the band it was a true highlight. I would thoroughly recommend using them and am sure that they will continue to do a fantastic job in the future. "

"Halfpenny Duo were fantastic. Really professional, really adaptable to slight timing changes on the night and just altogether 2 lovely people who made our anniversary party that bit more special. They were really kind enough to learn a song which was mine and my wife’s first dance as a married couple. Not a popular song on their set list but they learnt it for us and it was beautiful. "These guys are fantastic!!! We have a wide range of ages at our marina and they played music to suit everyone!! Literally everyone was up dancing all afternoon. Such a good fun afternoon with a fabulous atmosphere that was mostly created by Ben & Albert! We have already booked them for next year and we can’t wait to see them again!! If you want your party to get going then book these guys as they are terrific!!!"
