"Utterly fantastic from start to finish We found James and he was fabulous, so easy to talk to, very reliabl, so down to earth and made our wedding the most incredible wedding ever, the music was amazing and everyone loved it , the wedding was wild and the music made it even better! "I needed some gear at ultra short notice. They had it, they delivered it within two hours and I was using it less than two hours later. It is quality gear, with quality cables and hardware, supplied in quality flight cases. They provide ample back up cables as well. Very nice touch. The guys are all helpful and very nice to talk with. The prices are incredibly reasonable, too. If you're in the market, you could do a lot worse than giving BH Sound & Lighting Hire a call."

Chris was conducting the sound at the Red Deer in Sheffield when I played there on 24th September, and I can vouch for his expert ability in providing a fantastic front-of-house mix and providing exactly the right monitoring that I desired. As well as possessing top notch gear, he clearly has in-depth knowledge and conducted himself with utmost professionalism. He is also a friendly and approachable person, and went above and beyond to make sure I received the recordings of the show that he had taken from the desk. "Chris responded at pretty short notice (6 days) to a request to provide sound for a gig at The Lescar in Sheffield. He was providing sound for a pretty challenging headline act - Il Sogno Del Marinaio - whose bass guitarist (Mike Watt) was recently in Iggy Pop & The Stooges and perhaps more famously early '80s US hardcore band Minutemen. Chris did a superb job for them, giving them what they wanted in terms of set-up, overcoming some technical issues & really impressing with sound on the night. Likewise the support (Dave Woodcock) were able to set up quickly and their acoustic set sounded superb. The whole night went smoothly and the audience loved it; Chris played a huge part in that. Highly recommend."

"I want to really thank and recommend Grimshaw Audio/Chris for his work with us on an event at Batley Bulldogs Rugby Stadium. Chris provided exactly what we needed for an event with over 1,000 school children. The equipment/sound he provided was perfect for the needs of the event. The way in which he adapted to OUR last minute changes was hugely professional and courteous with lots of patience. The event which was a first for our organisation to plan had all we needed in terms of sound (across a huge venue) which included individual speakers, school choirs, samba band and soloists. "Robert played at our wedding this weekend and he was phenomenal!! Literally THE BEST there is, he keep the dancefloor busy all night and even stayed on additionally to play extra songs because our guests couldn't get enough of him. He was fantastic at communicating before the wedding and on the day, I spoke to him many times on the evening of our wedding and he is a perfect professional. Nothing was too much to ask for, he was dynamic and able to adjust to the crowd's requests and atmosphere of the night. My dad's life ambition was to be a saxophonist but was never able to do it, so Robert was booked as a surprise for my dad, my dad was up there with Robert playing the 'air' saxophone and was euphoric at Robert's skills and ability to play so well. Robert was very kind to my dad even offering to let my dad have a go at his saxophone which my dad will always remember. Many of our guests said that Robert's saxophone playing skills made the night! and he really did do an incredible job. He thoroughly looks like he loves what he does, he mingles with the crowd so well as is very engaging, the fact he is so passionate about playing alongside the brilliant skills he has is a wonderful combination and a real winner. I would very highly recommend him, infact I would say he is a wedding essential!!! He bonds the younger crowd with older relatives and friends and is a great talking point. Thank you so much!"
