"We just wanted to say an enormous THANK YOU to you and Alex for the fantastic set you did on Saturday at Ben’s 40’s Themed 40th Birthday Party! You were so friendly and helpful that many of the guests assumed you were friends of Ben’s. Well you are now! Your voices and Alex’s guitar playing were really lovely and the choice of songs was spot on. I really appreciated the way you took charge of any announcements and navigated the events during the evening without ever taking over, so that it took away any stress from us. Thanks also for enabling Izzy to use the backing tracks so that she could sing some special songs for Ben .You both really helped to make the evening such an enjoyable event for all involved. Lots of people commented on the music and wanted to know who you were, and the staff at the venue said how much they had enjoyed the music and the atmosphere it created. I know Ben will be in touch with you soon, but once again thank you both so much again for helping to make the event ‘go with a swing’ so that we all had a really lovely evening. "Booked Off The Wall for my dads 50th they had people up dancing and singing along to their music off the wall even let us request a song that my dad absolutely loves ‘Living on a prayer’ highly recommend very genuine very polite gentleman and will answer any questions you have, so if you love all the oldie song like we do get booking x"

"The Backbeats played at our Silver Wedding anniversary party at Grindleton Pavilion last Saturday. As soon as the band started playing, people were immediately up on the dance floor. Despite the difference in age range of our guests, the music played by the band seemed to appeal to everyone. Having the Backbeats perform as a live band created a lively atmosphere. All our guests thought they were wonderful. A band definitely to be recommended."

"This great group played for us at our Community 50/60's Dance and they soon had everyone up dancing, some even started when the group were doing their "warm up"! It was a fantastic night and we got lots of good feedback. We would certainly recommend the Backbeats and hope we can have them back again sometime in the future. "

"We just wanted to say thank you to you and to the rest of the band for the most fantastic two sets at our wedding. Friends and family are still asking us about you all and saying it's the best band they've heard at a wedding. We were delighted with all the songs that you chose and especially grateful to you for playing 'Tonight I'll be Staying Here with You'. The accordion sounded great in that song! You judged the mood of the evening perfectly and the music moved along beautifully in response to this. I think it was a real highlight of the day for us and all of our guests, especially the children who loved seeing you all playing your instruments."
