"Jonathan and his trio provided the music for a special party in July. This is the fourth time we have had the pleasure of his relaxed style of music and this time he brought a superb saxophonist. His repetoire is varied and he suits it to the occasion very well, even including special requests. Just need an excuse for another party!"

Thank you Carole. It's been a real pleasure playing at both your parties this year. Very Best Wishes Jonathan Vinten

"Carl and I were honoured to have you perform at our wedding at Stockwith Mill. Wow! We couldn’t have picked anyone better and more fitting and you were a massive contributor to our perfect day. The cover of Home for our first dance was amazing and better than I would have ever imagined, I have played it over and over. So many of our guests complimented on how amazing you were. I would recommend you to anyone and everyone. Your voice is unique and I can’t thank you enough for making our day perfect. Mr and Mrs Hughes"

"Rachel Mercer sings beautifully, not just the nostalgic tunes of the 1940s, 50s and 60s, but more modern contemporary hits also. She livens up the evening entertainment and puts a smile on your face. Paul Davies Aviation Historian. "

"We really enjoyed catering a wedding alongside The Swing Stakes recently. If you're looking for fabulous entertainment for an upcoming party, we'd highly recommend them. "

"Nick is highly professional, and he is highly gifted with an outstanding voice, but with his vocal gift, it is also very clear that he is someone who is highly disciplined and has to put in immense amount of hard work and is highly determined. However, for me the important quality that l love about Nick is that he is a lovely human being. He was caring and attentive to our vulnerable adults and the elderly audience. He was highly respectful to everyone irrespective of their status or age (whether they were in their 20s or over 90). I hired Nick to perform before a live audience of vulnerable adults, with Dame Esther Rantzen on Zoom on her 82nd birthday, and Nick was the surprise WOW factor! He surpassed my expectations! The ladies in the audience all wanted his phone number! I still get emails from women asking about him. So, with him being in such high demand it is not surprising that l have already booked Nick to come back for our Christmas special event in December. My recommendation is that you should book Nick because if you don’t you will regret it, because it is only a matter of time before he is famous and no longer easily accessible to us mortals! Nick is extraordinarily special. Don’t miss the opportunity to see him live and hear his incredible voice. Shamin Noronha Let’s Talk Peer Event Age UK Islington"

"Thank you for making our wedding day perfect. The duo performed amazing unplugged versions of our favorite party tunes and everyone was singing along at the wedding breakfast. I wish we’d have booked them for the rest of the evening too. Absolute class entertainment and musicianship. "

"On the night Pete Billigton set the right atmosphere with his piano, leading up to a superb gig with Fleur Stevenson singing, accompanied by Pete and Raph Mizraki on the double bass. Fleur's voice is remarkable and the choice of pieces was most fitting. I was complimented by many friends about the music - some jazz players themselves."

"From my very first enquiry for my 30th birthday party, Deep Down Brass were so responsive and helpful, to the day of the event when they were there in plenty of time, set up without a fuss, looked amazing, we’re super flexible to my needs and played three fantastic sets which had the dance floor full all night. Particular highlights for me where when the band entered from all different corners of the room, my guests were wowed! And when Freed From Desire was playing during one of their between set breaks and they came out playing along, the room went mad and we had carnage for a few minutes! It was epic. Something so different to hear your favourite songs on brass. My guests are still talking about it now and I’m trying to think of an excuse for another party so I can book them again!"

"You guys were amazing. Thank you for learning our first dance, you did a beautiful job and had me in tears all the way through. I can't tell you how amazing Maria's voice is, you have to hear it for yourself. The demos don't do you justice. The interaction between the duo was great and their energy rubbed off onto our guests who all commented on how brilliant they were. "

"Ruby only went and did it! Held an incredible night in aid of The Brain Tumour Charity and in memory of her dear friend, Brian Travers. A whopping £1127.15 was raised and a fab time was had by all! Thank you all so much for not only raising such amazing funds but raising such vital awareness."

"I first got to see Ruby on Facebook during our lockdown in 2020. She came out into the street to keep her friends & neighbours going and entertained. And I started following her on Facebook. And she kept me going also through the sad & bad times. Since then got to meet the lovely Ruby and have become really good friends. Ruby put a great charity night on 26th March 2022 At the Sedgemere Club in Yardley with a few of her other friends and then I arranged our queens platinum jubilee evening. Which Ruby & another friend Neil tilsley ( the good fella performed again at the Sedgemere Club, on 4th June 2022 yet again was a fab evening. Ruby & her friend Paul “Shakey” Shakespeare are doing our Sedgemere Club Yardley on Christmas afternoon 11th December. I just know it’s going to be a great afternoon. We will be raising money towards our Sedgemere Special Needs Group. To keep the funds going for a disco once a month also a day trip out in the summer. A Halloween & Xmas party xx "

"The band were absolutely fantastic, catering to our musical tastes and allowing us to use their speakers to play music between sets. They got everyone dancing and partying and were very enthusiastic. As musicians ourselves, we were very picky about our wedding band but these guys did not disappoint at all. We would recommend them to anyone - great value for money, great service, talented - and they even travelled from London to Lincoln!! :D Thanks. "

"You all play such great swing music, real foot-tapping and memorable numbers, putting it over in fine style with much good humour, which comes over very well to an audience. There is so much talent from you all with a switch so easily from instrument to instrument its fantastic. Also some terrific singing and to have four vocalists on the night as well was a bonus. Simone is as splendid as ever and a delight to listen to, with some great numbers too from that next door 'lad' in voice and on the sax. I was also impressed with some good horn blowing whilst playing the piano at the same time! Quite a feat and impressed many of my friends who watched in admiration! But thanks to you all for giving us all an enjoyable and memorable night."
