Biography
Sarah is an experienced vocalist having performed to a variety of audiences across the UK and Europe, performing in theatres, night-clubs, wedding receptions, and outdoor festivals to crowds of thousands of people. Credits include performances as Frida for Bjorn Again, the world-famous ABBA tribute show; singing on live BBC TV for the 'Children in Need' charity appeal; and performances at the high-profile European club venues: 'Le Mad' club in Lausanne, Switzerland and 'Club Rai' in Moscow.
Sarah started her musical career as a classically trained pianist, and a classically trained soprano singer, and gradually moved into the pop world joining her first band as a singer in the 70's disco dance-band 'Dr Love & the Disco Divas' in 1998, followed by an 80's party band, then a spot as a Cher and Shania Twain tribute singer as part of the 6 piece rock-band 'Quicksilver', before discovering the ABBA tribute world where she has performed the part of both Frida and Agnetha for many ABBA bands and later set up her one-woman ABBA show 'One of Us' in 2013. A few years ago Sarah received a request to sing James Bond songs for a previous client's birthday, so took them up on this, hence her James Bond themed tribute 'Licence to Sing' was born. More recently Sarah decided to set up a Queen tribute as she has always been a big fan of Queen and has included Queen songs in her acts, and very recently Sarah decided to set up her '80s Chick' tribute to the 80s as this decade is popular with those who remember as well as much younger people and there is a lot of demand for it. Not to mention the fact that the 80s has to be one of the best decades of all time for music and is great to dance to!
Sarah will sing in any kind of venue - shape or size. Her more obscure venues have included the inside of an air-craft carrier; a games arcade on the south coast; singing outside in the November rain at the BBC studios; and at the bottom of a mountain in Italy to an audience of 10,000 people while the snow fell down in minus 6 degrees centigrade and even to a table of eight people while they ate their dinner in a kitchen. Sarah's adaptability and flexibility, along with her cheerful and friendly manner means that she is not phased by any kind of event or audience and will always aim to please her audience and have fun along the way.
Then choose the PARTY PACKAGE: Up to 4 hours of played party music (60s to present day) supplied for an extra £55 on top of the live singing sets.

Club Rai in Moscow, Russia, in 2009. At the time it was one of the top 10 nightclubs in the world.
Too many to mention - but largely from 70s/80s
I started singing aged 7 in the local village church choir and in school plays. From then I joined school choirs, sang solo soprano in music festivals and played the piano, completing all the grades. After university I joined my first band - a 7-piece disco danced band as a backing singer, which led to me and the other backing singer setting up an ABBA duo, and later an 80s 6-piece band. I've sang in lots of bands in the meantime but decided to become a solo artist in 2014 to be more independent and sing my favourite songs and eras.
I love most events, especially where the people are friendly and chat to me. Thoguh I especially love private parties and events in more unusual venues such as private houses or boats etc
Standard format would be 2 x 45 mins or sometimes 1 or 2 x 1hr hour - but can tailor the set to your event.
I need 45 mins to set up equipment and 30 mins to costume change before first set and 30 mins to change before a second set.
Yes
The client is welcome to offer a few suggestions. It all depends whether I know the song, have the backing track and whether is suits my voice.
The client often says that they love how I interact with the audience and get them dancing. They also tend to love my song choices.
