The timeless sound of ABBA never fails to get people of all ages on the dance floor. Sarah's 'One of Us' show offers a solo tribute to ABBA for a fraction of the cost of a 4-piece Abba, or duo, and entertains you with authentic sounding vocals and an uplifting performance of the classic ABBA hits, along with her interactive 'Svenglish' banter. This is followed by an eclectic mix of dance-floor fillers from across the decades, including top party anthems such as 'I will survive' (Gloria Gaynor), 'Don't stop me now' (Queen), and 'I'm outta love' (Anastacia) which are guaranteed to get party-goers singing along. Her act appeals to all ages, whether you're 7 years old or 87 years old!
The party set can be tailored to requirements (e.g. all 70s if desired or a mix of 70s& 80s or 60s to 00s). Background party music can also be supplied as an optional extra, saving you the cost of a DJ.
Ideal for birthday parties / hen parties / weddings / wedding anniversaries / promotional events / abba tribute evenings / 70s evening / garden parties / live music nights at pubs and clubs and more. Equally happy singing to 8 people eating their dinner in a kitchen (seriously - it's been done), as singing to 4,000 people at an outdoor festival - and anything in between.

I do yes
I always like to know what sort of area I would be singing in, and where I will be getting changed.
I can provide a DJ service, yes.
It is hard to choose the best gig but singing in Moscow in one of the top nightclubs in the world is definitely up there. The best venue I played at was maybe in Italy at the bottom of a moutain in front of 10,000 people on NYE, also Grosvenor House Hotel in Mayfair, London, was pretty sophisticated.
Again -so many, but as a singer I was influenced by the sounds of Abba, Olivia Newton John, Annie Lennox of the Eurythmics, as well as Karen Carpenter, and I tried to copy their singing styles. Surely the greatest song of all time has to be Dancing Queen by ABBA, or is it Boehemian Rhapsody by Queen?
I guess I started gigging when I was 8 years old in my village church choir - we used to get paid (one pound) for weddings and funerals. At 9 years old I was playing the piano in public in competitions. And then in my 20s I started gigging regulary as a backing singer for a 70s disco dance band in pubs, clubs, festivals and weddings and things soon progressed from there. I have sang with many ABBA bands, a rock band, and an 80s band in every kind of venue you can think of.
Any event where the people respond to me, are friendly, and chat to me. I love meeting all kinds of people on my travels and get to know them. However, I do love singing at private events in people's houses and gardens, or somewhere unusual (like eg an aircraft carrier or a kitchen - which has been done). Hen parties and gay cabaret venues are always very lively and fun!
Standard performance is 2 x 50 minute sets with at least a 20 minute interval in between.
50 minutes - ABBA hits
45 minutes + encores - Dance-floor fillers from 60s/70s- present day
Other formats are available e.g. 1 x 60 mins
30 minutes is required to set up the equipment and sound check.
A secure private area is required for costume changes - where outfits can be left throughout the duration of the performance.
Yes, no problem
Abba songs are standard, but with my mixed party sets I will often tailor them to the audience (eg age group or whether they like rock or disco etc). As for specific songs, the booker can ask me beforehand I may be able to accomodate if I've sang the song/s in the past.
Clients often tell me I'm a 'proper entertainer' as I interact confidently with the audience and engage with them. I'm also told I know how to get people involved and up on the dance-floor.
