Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

The band requies 90 minutes to setup and sound-check (this can be slightly
shorter for the 4/5-piece if needed)
2 x 13 amp plugs.
The band has One-Million pounds Public Liabilty Insurance.
All equipment is pat tested.
A hot meal and refreshments are required and a room for the band to
change.
If the venue has a sound-limiter we need to know how low this is set
before taking a booking. Our drummer can use an electronic kit if needed, this would need to be discussed before confirming the booking.
Minimum space required for our various band line-ups:
4-piece band - 3 metres x 3 metres
5/6/7-piece band - 4 metres x 3 metres
8/9-piece band - 5 metres x 4 metres
The larger space the more the band can move around and make the show
more exciting!

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

"Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system suitable for up to 200 people to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig." We can add a larger PA system on request.

What information do you require about a venue?

We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment and if the venue is upstairs is there a lift we can use? We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

"Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music."

Is your PA system suitable for our wedding?

Our PA system is suitable for up to 200 people indoors. We also bring stage lighting at no extra cost.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

We require 60-90 minutes to load the equipment into the venue, setup and sound-check.
We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best."

Are you happy to perform outside?

"We’re happy to play outside but we ask for adequate cover and a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area."

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Yes, We try to offer a bespoke set list to each customer and the they're welcome to request their favourite songs from our repertoire. We can also learn a special for your first dance.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Most of our reviews say we keep the dance floor full for the whole night! But, we are versatile and we can play background jazz and easy listening music earlier in the evening whilst your guest are eating or mingling.

How many sets do you perform?

We normally perform 2 sets of 45 minutes or 2 x 1 hour. 3 sets is available on request but we find 2 sets works perfectly.
