"My fiance surprised me with DJ Maverick, and when he sang hero, by Enrique Iglesias, I started crying. The whole day was amazing and all my guest said how fantastic and Event it was. Auntie sang Patrick Swayze, she’s like the wind the greatest day by Take That. It must be loved by madness, something stupid by Andy Williams and so many other love related songs that I’m still so emotional and I’m really glad That my fiance spent the time looking for a DJ Maverick because been to some horror shows in the past, but this was a dream. Come true with Now. Booked him for our wedding so excited for another amazing event and I feel confident now because I know what we’re going to get x"

"Geff was great. He got everyone up and dancing early on and the dance floor was full pretty much all evening. He was a total professional, great lighting and set up. We have a brilliant night and the music was fab ! Thank you."

"I cannot speak highly enough of Chris and his team, I hired a full DJ kit including 'proper' decks for vinyl , the price was extremely competitive, the service was first class and given by people that truly care. "Excellent Keith arrived at exactly the time he said he would. Unloaded and set up with absolutely no fuss. Dealt with 7 or 8 separate performances over the whole day. Sound reinforcement is never plain sailing when outside but Keith took it all in his stride and provided a great live sound for our event. There were many compliments regarding the live music and that’s not possible without a good sound. I’ve already booked Keith for the same event next year"

"I want to really thank and recommend Grimshaw Audio/Chris for his work with us on an event at Batley Bulldogs Rugby Stadium. Chris provided exactly what we needed for an event with over 1,000 school children. The equipment/sound he provided was perfect for the needs of the event. The way in which he adapted to OUR last minute changes was hugely professional and courteous with lots of patience. The event which was a first for our organisation to plan had all we needed in terms of sound (across a huge venue) which included individual speakers, school choirs, samba band and soloists. I would really recommend Grimshaw Audio - for our huge event he offered to us all we needed and more. Thank you so much and so sorry this review has taken so long for me to complete. "A complicated (well, it seemed complicated to us) set up involving multiple external locations in difficult weather. Fantastic adaptability combined with comprehensive knowledge and experience led to perfect solutions with no stress or problems. Prior to the event there was frequent and timely communication that helped in the planning and provided insight as well as the mandatory requirements. Additionally, they were extremely competitive on price and were very good value for money indeed."

"The best dj money can buy! DJ-V was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was very professional from the get-go, but he was also very energetic and enjoyable to talk to. He is also very organized and make sure he knows every detail. We were having an American wedding in England, so it was quite different from the typical British wedding as the DJ is the one that runs the show and keeps the day on track. We asked DJ-V if he would be able to do announcements and bridal party intros for us and he did it perfectly. He also knows how to get the party going! He plays multiple genres of music and listens eagerly to what the couple does or does not want played. His saxophone skills are also second to none! We were amazed how he was able to DJ, but also time the saxophone performances throughout the set. I'd STRONGLY RECOMMEND DJ-V to anyone I knew - he is as reasonably priced as DJ's come and he will do everything he can to make your day special."

"This was my first time using Chris and it was for a musical theatre production of 'Godspell' at the Hasland Theatre. Chris came recommended by a friend of mine (Adam Parrish) after he did the sound engineering for a concert Adam had recently done with Gordon Giltrap. Well what can I say - Chris did an amazing job! He came along for a preliminary meeting with me where we looked around the venue, talked about the requirements for the show which included a live 4 piece band and 10 wireless headset radio mics. Chris then gave a full explanation of what equipment he thought was required to make a great sound within the venue, how much time he would have to dedicate to the project and from that came up with a quote for us. We confirmed it all over email and then it was just a matter of waiting for show week to roll around. This came at the end of March and Chris arrived with all the equipment he needed and got set up ready to go. It was great that the equipment he had was all digital and took up a very small amount of space and that he was able to control it all from his iPad at the back of the theatre, since there was literally no room for him to be anywhere else. Several of the band members commented on how great it was that Chris asked them before every show about their individual monitor mixes, if anything needed changing, if Chris needed to be aware of any issues from previous nights etc and are still talking about it now as something like that which seems really obvious and simple makes a huge difference to those playing and performing. Nothing was too much trouble for Chris even when I had to ask for some additional monitors to be placed on the stage as the actors were struggling to hear the musicians he just turned up with speaker stands and monitors and got them plugged in and ready for the following nights performance. Amazing! It is also important to note Chris's attitude throughout the entire process. Putting on a musical is an exceedingly stressful thing to do and I was having to think about a lot of things throughout the run, but Chris remained calm, level-headed and had a very calming presence which was commented on by several cast members and others within the creative team, which is just what you want in a high stress environment. He was great to work with and lots of laughs were had throughout the week amongst the whole team who he worked well with. A very quick and speedy break down and get out on the Saturday night wrapped everything up nicely. Thanks so much for the time and effort you put into making our show sound amazing and we really cannot wait to be working with you again hopefully in the very near future."
