A seasoned musician, he’s spent years gigging across Australia as a solo, in duos, and with his high energy trio delivering polished sets that suit any crowd. His repertoire is impressively diverse, spanning blues/rock staples like Jimi Hendrix and Stereophonics, to modern pop and soul favourites from James Morrison, Daft Punk, D’Angelo, and Michael Bublé. Frequently compared to John Mayer, Zack pairs exceptional guitar skills with smooth, emotive vocals, creating a rich, full-band sound using just guitar, voice, and tasteful looping
Based originally in Perth, Western Australia, Zack honed his craft fronting a professional corporate band, performing at countless high-end weddings, private events, and large-scale functions, building a reputation for reading the room and tailoring each performance to suit the vibe.
Also an accomplished songwriter, Zack won the Australian Blues Challenge and went on to represent his country at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee. He later took out the top prize in the AMEX Music Backers initiative, beating thousands of entrants nationwide with his original song Tell My Heart.

To ensure a smooth arrival and setup, please provide any directions that will help us locate the venue and identify the correct area for loading in our equipment. Additionally, it would be helpful to know if there is a sound limiter in place at the venue, and whether you require me to plug into the in-house sound system for the performance.

So many! But a recent highlight was performing in front of 3000 people at the Beer Farm Rodeo out in Western Australia in a town called Cowaramup with my trio band.

I started gigging in pubs around Perth, Western Australia, after starting to sing later on in life. It's now taken me all over the world!
I love festivals and getting on big lineup performances, as it's great meeting fellow musicians and all playing together on the same bill. I also have a deep appreciation for small, intimate gigs where the connection with the audience feels genuine and everyone is fully immersed in the moment.
For solo performances, I use my acoustic guitar connected to a loop pedal and multi-effects unit, running directly into the PA system. Depending on the venue and audience, I might incorporate a stompbox for added texture. Over the years, most of my gigs have been solo performances, typically consisting of three 45-minute sets with breaks in between.
I'm more than happy to perform outdoors, as long as there's shelter from the sun or rain to keep things comfortable.
I'm happy to learn specific songs as long as I have enough time to prepare. Just give me a heads-up in advance, and I'll make sure to do them justice!
