My name is Walter, I'm a 35-year-old bass player originally from Peru (South America) but currently based in Norwich, UK. I have around 20 years' performing experience. I also play electric and acoustic guitar (rhythm and lead). I love what I do and I am very professional about it. I am used to playing with different bands in many varied formats every week, frequently doing shows with no rehearsal and jamming with new musicians. I am versatile and creative, reliable and trustworthy. I am always ready to give 100% with great energy and good vibes. I have my own transport and equipment. I also have experience as a songwriter; writing and co-writing is one of my great passions.
I am available for hire for studio work and live events. I also offer various formats for live shows such as duo, trio, quartet, quintet and sextet. These lineups could include guitar, bass, sax, trumpet, vocal, drums (full drumkit) and percussion.

I have done several gigs including festivals in the south of England area, as well as weddings, pubs, clubs, etc. I find difficult to choose the best as all the shows I've done, including the ones that didn't go as well as I expected were fun and enjoyable, with good energy and passion.
I've been influenced by many artists from different genres such as Joe Pass, Nile Rodgers, Sal Cuevas, Louis Johnson, Bernard Edwards, Ruben Blades, Michael Jackson, among many others!
I have started gigging at the age of 14 in Madrid, Spain where I grew up and I haven't stopped ever since. I started playing rock music and soon after blues, funk, disco, swing, bossa nova, etc.

I usually do 2 sets of 45 min. I'm happy to do a 3rd set as long as it's prearranged.
