Yes.
I absolutley loved performing at Ronnie Scott's Jazz club as a guest act for The Jive Aces. It was amazing to sing on the stage that many of my inspiration's have performed on.
Peggy Lee, Norah Jones, Etta James, Frank Sinatra, and Nat King Cole are just a few of my influences. Ella Fitzgerald has to be my favourite artist and greatest influence, her scatt singing is by far the best in my opinion!
I have been performing professionally in public venues and at weddings from the age of fourteen. I went straight from school into studying music at university and continued to maintain residencies and live gigs. Over 10 years on and it's my full time profession, performing in different theatre shows, bands and my own solo project around the UK and beyond.
I love all types of events for different reasons, from themed era events where I get to take people back in time through music and costume, or jazzy solo gigs where I get to really set an atmosphere.
Arrival: 1 hour before the performance
Set up / pack down: 30 minutes
Finish by midnight.
If finishing after 10pm and the drive home is more than 2 hours I would request accommodation. For an early set up e.g set up at 5pm and not starting until 8pm I would charge £60 - £20 per hour per musician being there.
Yes, if cover is provided in case of rain.
Yes, I can provide a repertoire list and am happy to learn songs within reason, sometimes for an additional fee.
Previous customers would describe my performance as being, captivating, easy to sing along to and a feeling of being transported back to the Jazz/Swing era.
